I don't really follow this stuff. They might have some flexibility, but do they have the money? PSR headroom and actual cash are different. I don't get why people are giving Ornstein a hard time. Check out his tweet about Liverpool's situation, he got tons of questions. He's on a podcast, answers a question, and shares his thoughts. Content creators grab the stuff their fans like and ignore the rest, then spread it. It's not Ornstein's fault. Social media isn't really the place for a fair discussion, and Liverpool fans have way more people, both making content and just following along. So we won't win there.

Nunes and Diaz want out, Konate's declined to sign a new contract, and Madrid's interested. They only have one real striker in Nunes who wants out. They really need another one maybe 2, hence the links to Mateta. They're probably going for Ekitike since we won't sell Isak. They have a lot of transfers to figure out, 'cause a few players wanna leave. I hope the club gets this deal done. If Ekitike wants to sign for Liverpool, good for him. Keith summed it up perfectly. Liverpool no1 target was Isak no.2 Ekitike. We bid for Ekitike, Liverpool enquired if that meant Isak is available (hence Romano etc tweets) we said no. Then Liverpool asked to be kept informed about Ekitike. Now that Liverpool are in play, Ekitike likely goes to Liverpool.
