  1. The longer Liverpool waits to make their offer, the less likely we'll be able to say no or haggle. Then, it's either take the money or keep a player who doesn't want to be here. I think that's their game plan. That's why their shills keep saying they won't go to 130, but 120, and so on. It's a take it or leave it situation. I just hope we stick to our guns and say no. How much do we believe Eddie can get him back in the team and successfully reintegrate him??
  2. Sounds like they're saying 120 is a good price, and we should be happy Liverpool's offering that much to help with FFP, especially since they're taking our problem player. They're being so respectful and fair, right? They tapped up our player, he went on strike, they beat us, messed up our transfer window and start of the season, and now they're lowballing us for our best player, and they have had a decent start to the season. Might be top by 7pm tonight. Whilst we on 2 points. Welcome to the big time, lads.
  3. I reckon Howe wants to ditch Isak. Now, to get a new striker, we'll have to cough up a fortune. Wolves have lost all three games, looking like they're in a relegation scrap with Brentford. Goals win games/points, so they won't let their strikers go unless they get a crazy offer. Stuck between a rock and a hard place is where we are as a club right now. Am sure Howe can see that.
  4. All bases covered, a few days ago he said the deal is unlikely, now he is saying the deal was always going to happen. If we take that low offer of 120m plus add-ons, it makes me think Isak totally messed up and ruined everything burnt bridges with team mates and management even the board, pushing us to a point where we just wanted him gone. If that's true, Liverpool played it perfectly, just like Hope said. They get the player all the top sides want at their price and not ours.
  5. Craig Hope's saying in his video that we'll probably just take 120, maybe 130 if we push it, but that's it. He also says we used some of the Isak money for Woltemade, so the Liverpool deal will be done fast 'cause we need the cash. So not getting another forward does not stop the Isak deal is my reading from his comments. A right mess this is. I hope he is wrong, but it does sound the most likely outcome here. Isak has pushed us into a corner with his antics, now Liverpool are going to bend us over in that corner and we are going to accept it. Then go and pay 70 m for JSL or 50 for Wissa. We are really desperate it seems.
  6. He's been saying that every day for a month now. Liverpool's optimistic it'll happen, Isak only wants Liverpool, and it's all on Newcastle. The only way this deal happens is if we give in and take a fee no higher than 130. So, 120 up front and 10 in add-ons is the most Liverpool will offer. If we don't agree, they'll tell Isak to wait until January. This is a right mess, isn't it? Brentford and Wolves arent giving in on their forwards, and it looks like we won't get those deals done unless we pay a ridiculous amount, but Liverpool wants us to accept their price for our player. 😂 Truth is if he goes for anything below 140 we have bent over for them. Isak should be a British record buy and sale. Not just a British record buy.
  7. We have absolutely nothing upfront. Every time the ball went out wide there was noone in the Box. We definitely need two bodies in the striking department. They have been the difference between 2 points and 7/9.
  8. They will wait till January. I have a feeling they will tell Isak to sit tight till January
  9. Am waiting for an embedded tweet from you
  10. They won't give us their psr profit player. A few loans and sub appearances and they sell him for 40 million to Fulham etc in 3/4 years
  11. We want players WHO WANT TO PLAY FOR NUFC and Isak doesn't want to play for us. Lets rinse Liverpool for him min 140m, get wissa in and move on Lads. We will be competing at the top sooner rather than later. Get this cunt out of my club. The heart and desire we showed on Monday will take us far. Right now I would rather wissa than Isak. Lets move on Lads.
  12. Get Wissa in and another CM, l get shot of Isak for a 140/50 package and we are in a strong position to attack the season on all fronts.
  13. If we sign him, he'll score goals, trust me. We make so many chances, any decent forward with EPL experience would get 20+ goals for us. Isak's good, but how many one-on-ones did he miss last season? He missed a bunch of clear chances also, but still got 23 goals, and most were either penalties or put on a plate for him. JSL can get even better, and Eddie will help him. Just pay up, I say. I have no doubts at all he will bag a goals for us. We have hardly bought a dud so far under Eddie who cost more than 30 million. Trust the process

    Yoane Wissa

Dont have a choice atm to be fair.
  15. Isak's just sitting at home, not wanting to be on the team. If he was playing, we spank them four nil for sure, and could even win some trophies this season. We've got passion, grit, spirit, heart and a real team vibe. You can see it and feel it on and off the pitch, like with Bruno today. He was massive. It's a shame it's come to this with him, but he's gotta be feeling a little regret after seeing that, right?

    Jacob Ramsey

Aye he did look good today. There is a spot on the England plane next summer with his name on it.
  17. Botman on, back three, midfield 5 and 1 up top
  18. One thing is clear here. We need a CF.
  19. Well the club dont feel that way it seems at the moment. They want a more epl based approach, I guess.
  20. We need someone to do the job ASAP, so let's pay a bit more for a sure thing and get Champions League qualifications again. Liverpool wants Isak, so where does Ekitike go? If he plays on the left wing, then what about Gakpo? That's some serious attacking depth. We could have JSL or Wissa with Isak, then Barnes, Gordon, Murphy, and Elanga – that's depth and quality. Those are two really good forward lines that could compete against AC Milan during the week and Fulham on Saturday. That's what we need.
  21. Yeah, I see your point, but that's just how the market is these days. Check out the backup players at the top six clubs, they're all worth over 50 million. Fulham wanted 50 million for Munez, and he was just a backup! If you're looking for a Wilson replacement (a goal every three games in the Premier League), You're not getting them for 30 million.
  22. We aint getting both. Its one or the other. However is Liverpool put up 150m plus then yeah maybe but that not likely.
