A new bridge over to Gateshead side also, plenty of land there for a car park/fans area, with easy links to A1 I'll give me vote to the old arena area for a new stadium, the old ground/land will end up used for student accommodation regardless
-
Well, that's not the only issue. The stadium was falling apart, the club had seen years of neglect, football in general in the late 1980's was a shit show and attendances were falling almost everywhere. When the club was on the up the council and Hall etc were at a stand off regards the future of the ground and expansion, even talk (bluff) of moving to the metro centre land, the vision of the new state of the art stadium, wasnt just about attendances This whole "superfan" thing is pointless
-
Well they did say they wanted to get the discussion out there about what to do, and come up with ideas on how we move forward, and you can see over the last few pages how important it is to some. I still believe that a new ground is inevitable, have a great last couple of years at St James, win something then move to a new "home"
-
Thanks for sharing this ??

Man City were "gifted" a shiny new stadium, with a load of land around it to be able to expand and accommodate all those corporate £££ We would have to rebuild or move to compete with their facilities.
-
I just think it's inevitable now unfortunately, eventually the club will have to move
-
The new "stack" fanzone and a lick of paint around the stadium will be a stop gap until the new one is built, possibly on the old arena site, with the old ground flattened for student accommodation. I'm guessing this is what the feasibility study will come back with, cost will outweigh any benefit to expand, and plans will be published, with the metro extension also given the go ahead. The council will be onboard due to how much will be invested in the city, and local business will also get behind it.
-
It was said that "one of the world experts on this type of project" had been employed to do a feasibility study and how we move forward, I'm no expert, but I'd guess that will take more than a few weeks to complete.

An old manager of mine always used to come out with "there is ALWAYS at least two options on every decision, the first is to do nothing..." etc etc I've applied, although I suspect they will have no plans to have an old moaning fkr there
-
Lot's of misinformation around ref ticketing, like how people were saying that every match a percentage has to be held back for general sale.
-
Yeh, I dont understand it Fans wanted a "voice" and now those that are in place get nowt but grief
-
If nothing else that survey has got everyone commenting and giving their opinions, there's quite a lot to digest to be fair. However, I've not seen one person say they have applied to be on the Fans board, which is strange considering how much the club was pushing it
-
The email has also gone to non members like. But as mentioned, they'd already said this survey was coming, and specifically pointed out it will be full of hypothetical scenarios Nothing is going to be announced until after this season, at the earliest ?♂️
-
They did say at the fan event that this survey was coming, and that it will be full of "hypothetical" ideas, and for people not to get too carried away with one idea or the other (words to that affect) Yeh, some of the ideas are mental, but at least we now have a club and owners that ask what we think and want, which has to be something. This new fans board is going to have a shit ton of pressure on them, good luck to whoever applies

Personalised links and appears random. 3 from 8 of our "group" have received it so far.
-
Lots of "Enclosed seating with complementary food and drink" Type questions/options mentioned
-
Just completing a survey the club has sent out, and there's a section about renovating the stadium and the type of "premium" seating options and so on. WTF is this

He was probably pissed on the free glass of prosecco or bottle of Madri ?
-
Well then he's lying No exact figures were mentioned regarding membership or ST holders. "Dortmund have 180k members, we have less than half" is exactly what was said. "Around 20% of memberships sold have not entered a ballot" ?♂️
