Fuck me, there's some right whoppers on here. We've just won 5-2, against PSG, over two legs, and still it's not good enough ?

Champions League 2023/2024: Group F (Newcastle, Milan, Dortmund, PSG)
patrone replied to Marko NUFC's topic in Football
Bring on Milan. Hopefully it will be bouncing ?? -
Surprised at how quiet the EFC fans are here.
-
Ah, It's all a conspiracy
-
What would they get out of lying? why would they even post that question if they were going to lie and make up "bollocks" at the event? There plenty of people (not just NUFC fans) that have attempted to buy tickets online only to find they didn't actually have them to sell, or they were resold more than once. He also went on to say that other clubs are having this same issue with reselling and the EPL are also trying to clamp down on these websites.
-
It was something like "we have attempted to buy tickets from these websites, and a lot of the time there was/is no ticket, they are just speculating on being able to supply them" Not sure why they would come out with this if it was "rubbish" especially when the questions were screened and prepared ahead of the event ?♂️

On the Adidas deal, it starts in June, with everything now back in the clubs control ie warehousing, delivery etc etc They were blown away by Dortmunds club shop (It is great like) and that idea is something that is being looked at, with a load of NUFC branded merch to come
-
The club is going to send out a survey to us with a load of "what if" type questions, based on ground move, redevelopment of St James' and so on Eales said that "currently" the club is nowhere near any decision but all options are available
-
-
Oh aye, they said they spent ages with Dortmund bosses as we are a similar "style" of club etc etc They have around 180k members where we have less than half of that. They know about these online 3rd party tickets sites, and have actually attempted to purchase only to find the tickets don't exist as the website speculates on being able to get them. EPL themselves, and other clubs are involved in doing the same Loads I've missed no doubt
-
Only 10 members have won every EPL ballot so far Around 30% is the average success rate entering a ballot Around 20% of sold membership have not entered any ballot Fans advisory board applications are going live Friday hopefully to have it setup and working by Feb World leading architecture company looking into expansion and other options Eddie only stayed a short while, and answered a few general "how do you like the north east" type questions
-
I'm there now. Sat in table next to Eddie, Shola etc. ?

And they have realised their mistake and now I am invited

And I've just had email to say I was "unlucky" so applied as a pair one of us was successful hahaha ffs "Thank you for your interest in our We Are United Supporter Event at St. James’ Park. Places have been allocated via a random selection and unfortunately you have not been successful in securing a place at this event on this occasion. Demand for this event was extremely high. You will be added to our priority list as a future attendee for further supporter events. We would welcome any further comments you would like to contribute. Please email these to [email protected]. If places do become available at short notice, we will ballot the unsuccessful applicants to offer the opportunity."
-
I applied for two of us, other person had email confirmation, but I haven't as yet, although the "ticket" is showing in my account. We have both supplied a question via the link they supply. so let's see what happens.
-
So who's attending next Wednesday to point all these valid point across to people that matter?
-
Was always a physical card until this season, however they never added tickets to them, so was pointless really other for your money off at shearers/nine
-
Most of the forum never attend anyway (does that get me in the edgy and controversial group now)
-
? Based on what?
-
It's not just us, they are listing plenty of others and cup games, UCL, other European leagues and so on. All these huge clubs, with all that money/power, yet this website has been selling for years ?
-
That website has listed our tickets since last season at least, as well as many other clubs. You'd think if they wanted it stopped it would have been by now ?♂️
-
-
I never even thought about that, I cant see the "event" on the website, so is it like a targeted email to some members? No idea really.
-
I have applied but I doubt I will be there "There will be up to 200 in-person places available and up to 1,000 places to join the event online. If this event is oversubscribed, we will allocate attendance via a ballot system." Yippee yet another ballot
