Yeah he would have been perfect but doesn’t seem like we were ever in for him. Someone like that Turkish full back at Brighton would be decent. Would get plenty of minutes being able to play both and we could take a punt on someone from Europe as opposed to the Prem

Definitely need a full back in January, was worried about this positions depth but at the same time understood why we didn’t sign anyone as other positions were more urgent. Think we will be fine today but the concern is flogging Trippier and Burn every game if Hall is out for a month or two with Tino also out

Yeah we need to win today, would be really disappointing going into the October internationals in 15th (or worse). So not must win but close to it. Unchanged for me and we will have too much for them. It really helps that they also had Europe this week and a day less preparation as well.

Didn’t like the sounds of Thiaw based on what others had said but always trusted Eddie and the scouts opinions because they rarely miss. Looks like they haven’t missed again, what a player! Every aspect of his game is as good as Schar’s with the added pace, no brainer that he is first choice for me.

Saw someone on an earlier page say we could do with better players around him for link up play. Would love for us to go for someone like Ndiaye, think he would work really well with Woltemade, can play anywhere across the front, keeps hold of the ball really well and has the work rate of a Howe player.

Will be a difficult game but we should be winning this really. Yes they are unbeaten but they are playing poor teams week in week out and if we turn up and play we should have too much for them. I would take a very scrappy uninspiring 1-0 win

I think the main beneficiaries in terms of goals will be Joelinton and Ramsey as they will be the ones that are expected to go beyond him when he does drop deep as well as the wingers. We have already seen it with Joelinton this season.

Feels weird discussing how we should potentially drop a goalkeeper in great form who has kept four clean sheets in five games but that is modern football for you! I would like to see Ramsdale as our first choice personally as I think it helps everyone else in front of him and will enable us to play higher up and more effectively. Would like to see Botman, Thiaw and Ramsdale start on Tuesday in the CL to try and give us some control.
