I would imagine we put out a number of enquiries on Monday once we thought that Ekitike was a no go and Wissa and Sesko are two of them (hence why there is noise in the media). Doesn't mean either one is our first choice yet, just putting feelers out.

Disappointed to miss out on Ekitike but we look like we are going to keep Isak which is the most important thing, especially knowing that this is likely the case with well over a month left of the transfer market. Hopefully Galatasaray and Napoli continue to struggle to strike a deal for Osimhen for now. As soon as that is agreed you would imagine they would quickly agree a deal for Nunez and then Liverpool may look to Ekitike. Get the deal done before then! Although saying that, surely Liverpool jump in if they really want him anyway and assume that they will sell Nunez further down the line.
