  1. It's important to point out that all the "he'll come good" bet-hedgers on here were emphatically wrong.
  2. I see he'll be doing his rehab at Liverpool's "AXA Training Centre". AXA were named in Francesca Albanese's report on corporations who profited from the genocide in Gaza.
  3. No sympathy for Isak but absolutely imo. It's as dangerous as a tackle gets, guaranteed to injure the player. If it had been Romero......
  4. Thought he made it way too easy for Pedro on the second. It's a strange football cliche that keepers get credit for staying on their feet in 1-on-1 situations. I stay on my feet at 5-a-side as does everyone else there because it hurts to dive around on astro at our age. We only save it if the ball hits us on the shins. That's what Ramsdale was like in that instance, too upright. Pedro only had to slip it past him, not even into the corner. One of the least imposing keepers I've seen at this level. We missed a trick in not snapping up Kelleher.
  5. Bizarre post. Brexit and Reform (neither of which I'd vote for btw) actually owed a lot to the "anyone who disagrees with me about anything is a knuckle dragging bigot" arrogant mindset you're displaying here.
  6. Yeah I thought the same about the free kick, Palmer bought it.
  7. Absolutely brilliant game. Disappointing to lose another lead, but that was phenomenal entertainment.
  8. Thought we were crying out for the subs too, you could see the second coming. Thiaw was unlucky for their second. I'd put it down to brilliant play by João Pedro rather than poor play by Thiaw.
  9. Needlessly drawn out. Lots of people have to get up for work in the morning. I don't but lots of people do.
  10. I'd take the Arsenal v Palace winners. It'll be all about the title race for Arsenal. Likely to rotate players.
  11. Elanga's done a few good things. Woltemade has been much worse.
  12. Their academy mentor is their former player and Israeli international Tomer Hemed who has tweeted “Human animals are not human!!! Monsters ! Let them die a death of suffering!”, and also posed for photos with IOF "soldiers" during the genocide calling them "heroes".
  13. Whenever I wonder to myself why the hell I even care who wins in this professional sports business anymore, people like Bruno are the answer.
  14. Agreed. There's barely a shred of decency left in it. You'd get more honesty in the Knesset.
  15. The Chelsea keeper is dying. He's literally going to die after that tackle.
  16. Merino doing well in spite of his broken leg.
  17. Top of the foot for me, no danger in that. Sore one, but that's all. 🟨
  18. They made it a bookable offence for players to flash imaginary yellow cards, presumably on the basis that it was unsporting, but it's fine for the entire Arsenal bench and management to jump up and start drawing VAR screens, demanding Caicedo be sent off.
  19. I thought so too at first but after watching all the replays , think he only caught him on the top part of the foot. Very little danger of injury in it imo.
  20. Caicedo tackle nly a yellow for me. It's not high enough to be a red. Only gets him on the top of the foot.
  21. Nick was brilliant to set up Elanga for the chance at the start too, which led to the first.
