In addition, I doubt many of our fans would be happy if we had the sort of sponsorship deal that's recently been struck by Fulham, Everton, Brentford and Palace with random trading/job search/tech companies. Bournemouth with Vitality Insurance have done well though.
-
As it stands there are 7 Premier League clubs who have yet to sign a front of shirt sponsorship deal -Newcastle, Chelsea, Villa, Forest, Hull, Ipswich and Sunderland. Audi sponsoring Villa remains entirely speculation, and their shirt went on sale today without a sponsor You've got 3 major clubs without sponsors there, I can't remember that ever happening before, so that says to me that it's not just a case of our commercial team being incompetent, there is a wider issue.

SoS definitely doesn't feel like it's in the city centre because all the other city centre stuff is on the other side of the river. It feels like it's in the sort of place you find wasteland, small industrial units and Daewoo showrooms.
-
How's this happening when the transfer window isn't open yet?
-
I'll take your word for it. It's still built on wasteland though.

I think it's just a fake according to Reddit people were wearing them during the parade the other day.

Only on the Authentic £120 one.

Can't tell whether your being sarcastic or not about your love for this shirt

If you want to talk about moving goalposts, have a look over at RTG and the opinions on European football qualification from this time last year, and compare them with the attitudes posted this week. Because whenever we qualified for Europe, it was overwhelmingly ridiculed (5th place doesn't deserve Europe, the teams that qualify are all shit, nobody cares, the competition is a joke, we are being rewarded for failure, it's all a scam etc.) Very different opinions on there now though! So many posters over there are absolute embittered morons, they don't know whether they want a shit or a haircut.

Villa have officially launched their new shirt (which is a belter) without a sponsor so I think is more than likely we'll do the same. Assuming they do, will people be able to get the sponsor added on at the club shop at a later date? Memories of them applying the blue star patch over the Greenalls one at the old Haymarket shop.

Bet you Ronaldinho is thrilled to be playing in a 9.9/10ths empty ground on Wearside tonight. Lol.

Has the makings of a cult classic. Remember Castore did a very basic middle-aged-man-approved shirt in 22/23 but it's never ever going to gp down as a classic.

Sold my 25/26 home, third and pink shirts on eBay after the derby. Couldn't look at them without being reminded of Brian Brobbery, Jamine Lemal and Wissa.
-
Xaka and Roofs there, looking like they are trying to qualify for 'up the arse corner' on Loaded magazine from the 90s:
-
Just qualified for Europe and already there's three threads just been started on RTG that reference NUFC. We are ALWAYS the priority.
-
They are on about extending the SoS again....one of them says they could have sold over 50k loads of times this season. Can they not see with their own eyes the empty seats at EVERY game except NUFC? Even Liverpool.

Don't remember this bring released but in sale now: https://www.endclothing.com/gb/end-x-umbro-newcastle-jersey-56146u-060.html?utm_source=fb&utm_medium=paid_social&utm_campaign=END+-+Retargeting+-+Catalogue+Website+Sales+-+UK+-+V2&utm_content=All_MD_Products_MW&utm_term=DPA+-+Men's+MD+-+View+or+Add+To+Cart&placement=Facebook_Mobile_Feed&utm_id=6998286318789_v2_s10_e7646&fbclid=IwYW9zYgR_mxtleHRuA2FlbQEwAGFkaWQAAAZdbem1JXNydGMGYXBwX2lkDDM1MDY4NTUzMTcyOAABHgMYYULaoj9mnxOEzpiwYq_57t-mGtz72YwZ6mwpXG31rCSj-1mDyu8IlBad_aem_gxgE_VU5e5jI-yZL64kMCA

It looks good there as well I think - but sponsorless helps. When it was a crypto currency or trading app sponsor on it it will look diabolical.

I prefer ours to that Juventus one as well.

"Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund is prepared to dilute its stake in Newcastle United by selling up to 25 per cent of its shareholding in the club. The PIF, which recently pulled the plug on its funding for LIV Golf, intends to remain the majority shareholder. However, the move is seen as key in an attempt to get equity into the Premier League club before the announcement this summer of a proposed £200million training ground at Woolsington, a village near Newcastle, and further talks on a possible new stadium that could cost more than £1billion. The club’s value, according to sources, is thought to have increased to about £1.5billion. A sale of a quarter of the PIF’s stake would give the buyer a shareholding of 21.25 per cent of Newcastle and could bring in more than £300million, a sum that would be put towards the two substantial projects. The PIF owns 85 per cent of Newcastle at present, a stake it purchased from the former owner Mike Ashley in a £305million takeover in September 2021. The Reuben brothers, through RB Sports & Media, own the other 15 per cent. It is thought that the PIF is prepared to dilute its present holding in the club to about 63.75 per cent after being told at a club meeting last month that equity was needed to progress the plans for a new ground and training facility. Newcastle must part-fund any new stadium themselves. That means the club will need to have enough equity to have the right loan-to-value ratio. They will also have to carry a significant part of the funding for a new ground and are looking for new investors to join the PIF and the Reuben brothers."

They are currently front of shirt sponsor for Bristol City women's team.
