Im led to believe the third shirt goes on sale tomorrow morning with the away arriving after that.

I was watching one of Craig Buglass's (the Kit Breakdown) videos on YouTube the other night and he mentioned they will be looking at NUFC 24/25 kits soon. This will be very interesting to watch as: a) Craig Buglass was a creative consultant for adidas with these three kits and b) he claimed NUFC fans minds would be blown when they saw them I like him and his channel a lot, but I'm very intetested to see what he has to say about these as I dont think anyone thinks they were mind blowing.

I like the different weave in the fabric for the stripes. The embroidery cultists might not be happy with that badge tho. Brilliant to see our gear for sale in NYC.

Interesting to see Sunderland fans getting all nostalgic about these new Hummel kits that take inspiration from early 90s kits. Surely these Hummell kits shouldn't conjour up any nice memories, only images of: 1) relegation 2) 18th and 21st place finishes in the 2nd division 3) Malcom Crosby and Terry Butcher as manager 4) Wembley misery 5) 16k attendances We won nothing in the kits we have used as inspiration for our latest kits but at least they were happy times

I dont like to be argumentative with strangers on the internet, but Footy Headlines, as rubbish as it looks, is 100% credible and having followed them for a few years I'd estimate that they are correct 99% of the time. They state when renders are used and these images arent rendered, if they had been rendered the hoops would have been straight. That might not be the actual kit but id say it almost certainly is if they say so.

I don't think either of these are the real thing. They both have Aeroready labels but have Heat.Rdy fabric

Leicester, Leeds, Ajax and Celtic have all recently launched and they dont have Authentic shirts so we are definitely a tier abive them. However, as well as not having the trefoil on our 3rd shirts we just have a generic hangtag, while the big five (Man U, Arsenal, Juve, Bayern and Madrid) have bespoke club hangtags. We also dont yet appear on the banner on the international adidas webpage like those five do. So it looks like we are Elite level, rather than God level to me.

Those shirts are okay but I'm not convinced our designer at adidas has a firm grasp on our history. Yeah we all love the 95-96 away, but its already been redone fairly recently (and quite well) by Puma. As for that third shirt - how many people actually have fond memories of that? Ruud Guillit and an 11th place finish. And their use of retro badges just seems completely random to me. The 70s-80s badge on the home which is a tribute to the 01-03 shirt makes no sense. And the round NUFn badge belongs on a silver/grey shirt - exactly like this years adidas Real Madrid 3rd shirt in fact. That would have been absolutely perfect and a tribute to genuinely happy times. I do appreciate that they look like the've used cream on the colour of the away tho, big thumbs up to that.

If you scroll to the bottom of the new newcastleunited.com webpage you can see they are using the pre-ashley East Stand lettering again, so I'd expect to see that on the stand again.
