That Malmo/Copenhagen match is the shortest international away day in European football history (apparently!). 28km as the crow flies. Went over the Oresund bridge into Malmo when I was over in Copenhagen a few years back, will be a decent two-legged fixture that.

Ramos would be a signing and a half.

This prick and his agent are forgetting how contracts work. If he turned out shite after the contract was signed, we would have absolutely no right to bin him off and get him off the wage bill, similar to the Isaac Hayden situation. Unfortunately for him, he signed a contract that he is legally obliged to follow, toys out the pram or not. He needs to bin off, or at least get his agent out of Romano’s arse, and get his fucking head down. He’s got a contractual duty to Newcastle United.

£150m starting point is based on previous transfers (Coutinho being one back in 2017), the fact they've just bought an unproven player from Germany for £120m and the ridiculous inflation of the transfer market nowadays, Moses Caicedo was bought for £115m ffs. Any less than £150m up front, and a lot of the fanbase will be rightly very angry. Thought the Saudis were supposed to be cut throat?

Not worth listening to the woman-beating cunt. Forgotten more than he knows about football.

I'll never forget his equaliser against Norwich in the Championship, completely lost my shit. Then Gayle got the winner a minute or so later. Had no voice to celebrate it!

We'll find out his motivation soon enough if Al-Hilal come in with £150m. If he turns them down, money isn't the motivator. If all of us fans are looking and talking about the mess that's going on upstairs, what effect does that have on the more ambitious members of the group. We've squandered a golden opportunity to build upon our most successful season in living memory, that failing lies at PIF's door for me.

PIF not catching anywhere near enough shade for all of this. We've absolutely no direction as a club, senior management all over the place, wrong people getting hired which in turn has lead to this situation with Isak. It's not all on them of course, Isak could have gone about this more amicably, but we wouldn't be in this predicament if we'd shown some ambition over the last few windows and sorted his contract situation out.
