Not sure enjoying is the word ?
-
Longstaff was turning intonation goal threat mind so can understand plus extra energy
-
Well this has took a poor turn
-
PSG In with the chances
-
If PSG win its going to be awful tbh, If they'd get a just point against us you'd say fair enough. But not how the decision went.
-
PSG better team, more possession shots, shots on target higher Xg. However Dortmund will come out better second half I think
-
Isak still to come on with a bit of a point to prove I think.

Think people will certainly be gutted if PSG look like winning their game like. -

Need some of our big players to step up tonight to go through, Bruno, Isak/Wilson and Trippier going to be key here. Can't waste chances against these that we have recently even going back to the Man United game where we played brilliantly, just aren't taking enough of our chances. -
If he's top of his game tonight we win.
-
Think his Man United stint is looked back on a lot differently tbf, won a trophy and got a poor squad second. Other than Spurs where he was sacked before a cup final he has won a trophy at every club he's managed.
-
If Howe was to leave I'd take him tbf, he knows how to win a cup. However I wouldn't take him over Howe.

For that particular young Spaniard maybe I can see your point, for us as a club, a fan base and our standing in England I don't think so. Big clubs win things at the end of the day, players want to play for clubs that win things and want successful careers. Joining Newcastle to win trophies sounds a lot more appealing to me. If we want to compete properly we need to end our trophy drought. -
I don't think it's a myth but think it's being overblown and over stated at times. Win we aren't fatigued, lose and we are. At home we aren't fatigued, away from home we are. Seems to be a theme, more going on than just that although I do agree it's a contributing factor.

Going to be gutting if we play brilliantly win, and don't go through -
At what time though? Shearer is his Blackburn/early Newcastle days would have no issue what so ever. He'd comfortably be one of the best centre forwards in Europe right now and be smashing them in.

Haha yeah that's the way I look it it also, who knows what could happen. Saudis fuck off, sanctions, other teams over take us and we go through having another good team thinking what could have been and wishing we'd won something. -

This 100% champions league runs are soon forgotten really but a cup win think the memories would last a life time. Also think developing a winners mentality would be massive for us going forward. -

I don't think it's bigger at all would be massive for the club to win something. Surprised anyone would be torn, with our trophy run it has to be the priority. -

Getting into the champions league isn't comparable to winning trophy like. Would take a league or FA cup over that any day. -
Bit disrespectful of Shearers career, he was massively hard working.
