The clubs won’t vote to change the rules as there’s too many teams it benefits (the cartel clubs plus their gravy-train cucks). Unless they can compromise on the APT stuff then it feels like the legal route is the only route for this to go down.

Has to be the worst player of ‘heads or tails’. Has he lost every toss he’s been captain at home? Think he lost both tosses at Forest for the penalties as well…

As long as Saudi are awarded the World Cup in 2034 (they might have been already) then I don’t think we have anything to worry about.
-
Must win, then a positive result against Arsenal and everything changes
-
Yeah, we’re not finishing top 6 this season with Howe in charge. All down to the cups. Must win on Wednesday.

The amount of times I’ve seen this season where keepers play it long over our midfield to the striker who dropped deep. The gap between our defence and midfield has been there for a long time now and not solved. The flat midfield as well doesn’t give enough support to the striker. At least defence can be blamed on injuries and right wing on lack of investment

Tindall sorts the defence. Howe has said himself he’s more of the attacking half of the management team.

I’m torn between: 1) he deserves this season as still has enough credit in the bank, is a good manager, and it feels like the right thing to do against… 2) I just can’t see us becoming a regular top 4 side who wins trophies with him in charge. He seems too loyal and too stubborn to how modern successful clubs operate While we’re still in both cups and could finish top 6 then deserves that chance.

His first goal tonight reminded me a lot of his goal against Southampton away

Botman might return from an ACL injury quicker than this.

He’ll still be getting used to managing a club the size of what Newcastle is now. Even when he joined, he could control a lot as we were short of management bodies. In a recent interview he said how the biggest negative difference compared to Bournemouth is the difference in control he has. I’m with you and hope we have success under Howe. If we don’t then we’ll move on and have success with someone else. Our base compared to when we appointed Howe is significantly higher and he’ll forever have played a key part in any success when end up having.

From reading the mag article linked above, you would think every match pre-Ashley had a brilliant atmosphere. It most definitely wasn’t. There were many homes games back then that had similar atmospheres Saturday. I’m all for supporting ideas on how to improve the atmosphere. But you can’t do that by alienating those that do still attend.

My worry is that it’s gone stale. Crowd are stale, performances are stale. It’s really hard for it to change unless the manager goes.

Luke is missing the point. Shareholder loans now have to be included in PSR calculations at fair market value. This change screws up several clubs from a PSR perspective. The very rules clubs put in place to stop us, are about to bite them in the backside. So while the rules have not changed today. The impact of this ruling will likely result in a change.
-
I suspect if Premier League have blocked any of our sponsorship deals - yes as APT and FMV have not been applied fairly to shareholder loans.
-
This is genius. The rulings aren’t major, but the impact of those could well be. - APT and FMV being fairly applied would screw up Arsenal, Brighton and a few other clubs - Rules need to be re-drafted - Legal challenges galore now expected

I don’t think anyone does…

Doesn’t help himself at times.

The noise for each of the goals! Not a typical roar/goal celebration, it was a spine tingling pure emotion - especially the Miggy and Schar goals.

Any idea why he was subbed off?
-
Bernardo is always a twat when he plays against us. Apart from that though, let’s go at them and use pace on the counter attack. Need a big game from Barnes and Gordon.

The actual Isak quote without Hope’s doom mongering: ”He’s had scans, he’s had lots of tests. The injury has been diagnosed fine. It sounds far worse than it is but he’s got a broken toe. It’s one that can be managed and played with providing he can manage the pain levels. That will have no long-term risks. He had injections to numb the toe last week, so that was fine until it wore off.”
