It could be catching up with us now, especially with other teams like Tottenham and Man Utd improving. Its going to be difficult to qualify for Europe this season. I'd happily take the Conference league place at this stage.

EPL table looking grim for us. We just dont have the players to go on a consistent run in the league, especially when we're on Europe. We have a front 3 of 1 very good striker and 2 bog standard wingers that rarely score. The big teams have a front 3 of 1 very good main striker, and 2 very good strikers that are also good on their respective wings (with extras on the bench that are equally good). We need to stock up on goal scorers that can play instead of our Gordon, Barnes etc, then we'll maybe be a regular match up for the big teams while sweeping the other teams aside more regularly. Where the money comes from to do that though, I don't know 😕.

Let's be honest, our wingers have been inconsistent at best this season so far. I say throw him in and see what happens. At the very least it might show the others that their place in the team isn't secure if they don't buck up their ideas.

I don't think we'll get Anderson back as he's too expensive now. That money could be spent on some young promising wingers as ours are pretty ineffectual,and certain midfielders who shall remain nameless look out of sorts after any international break.
