  1. its fucking shit now squad and Howe off to Asia, I bet Howe now would continue to work on transfers rather than pre season trainings but that also needs doing as season coming quick and based on the Celtic game there is work to do to get us up to speed. its shit how he was left on his own doing 2/3 peoples job due to Mitchell being completely useless to us. I would hope all Mitchells salary in last 3 months are given to Eddie. other managers get incredible help from higher up DoF, negotiators, CEOs involved directly, someone like Pep Guardiola had Txiki and Hugo Viana in tandem thinking about their rebuild since January. Howe had Mitchell doing nothing and waiting to quit clearly. I bet he made himsef look busy in his office with "do not disturb" put on his Teams lol while watching porn or playing on playstation.
  2. Wish we could get one of those executives in that are doing the bidding for the Saudi league cubs.
  3. this a joke. imagine we end up with a weaker squad for the CL season that the one that qualified for it. a new contract is a must for Isak, we need to improve his salary. Saudis need a big decision of how they want the Newcastle project to go. our top players will need to feel we will be regular CL side, not in for one year out of it the next 1/2. Spurs and Man Utd wont underperform so badly for so long, soon they will be back in the mix going for top5 places.
  4. scouts need to look at other league. Botman, Guimaraes, Joelinton, Isak would all have cost 20-25m more if they were PL proven at the time. but all turned about to be great businesses. Howe also need to accept to trust scouts.
  5. renewing with him is a good decision. bit higher salary but he seems to be able to hold down RB position for years, no wonder City interested as long term Walker replacement.
  6. Nothing changed, we need a bigger squad that can take the hit of the extra CL games and added fixture schedule. So far its Longstaff/Wilson out and Elanga in, so we are 1 down overall. We cannot run same 12/13 players into the ground with limited rotation otherwise we will be shit by mid October with increasing risk of injuries. We missed out on number of targets, thats bad but not much we can do now. we need to look up alternatives. this where the help from DoF to Howe would be crucial but doubt Mitchell doing much these days.
  7. its like Big Six made a plan that one of them always has to jump in with better offer and wages if we target someone. Almost surprised Elanga didnt end up at Spurs or Arsenal.
  8. We may have missed a trick due to timing but Forest getting Edu from Arsenal as DoF, albeit it was agreed long time ago but only joined now. had we knew Mitchell is fucking off we may get to him. albeit looked a bit strange to go from Arsenal to Forest when it started to look well for Arsenal after years, especially those Saliba, Gabriel transfers, Odegaard on the cheap, Raya also not a bad catch, Rice too despite the price... also with Forest losing Elanga, and MGW soon, I mean the short term future for Forest looks more as a decline imo and they overperformed big time anyway and they may drop back to lower table with Europe is also there for them. either way we need a proper DoF who is a big help to the club and Eddie, but the timeline on this imo is that nobody will come before Oct-Dec imo. fucking Ashworth must be thinking what a prat he was bending over to Man United only to be sent packing within months, I still laugh on that when I think of that. and all the shit their fans said about us not letting him go quick. they were complaining about that longer than they used his services once they had him in the end hahaha
  9. To be fair fast forward to next summer, a lot will depend if we are in CL 26-27 or not. made a big difference that we are in it for 25-26. if we dont do it, it will be hard to reason with some big bids that would see players leave for a CL side or stay to fight in EL with a hope we may or may not get back into CL for the season after. we also need to get our salaries closer to those teams above us, which is only possible with becoming a CL regular to lead to more commercial income and prizes.
  10. that defensive transfer is a must given we tried for weeks for Guehi but we couldnt meet the price with Palace a year ago. we took a risk go into the season and Burn and Schar stepped up again and took lion share of minutes but they are almost 70 yo together. Botman is class when fully fit which is about 40% of the time. also Burn needs to fill in at LB when Hall needs a rest or injured. with 8 hard CL games coming up between August and January this will be really huge test for us physically. we will have very few weeks without midweek games, once Carabao kicks off. very little news tho, Scalvini is one that mentioned, but 40-50m price a bit steep for us. I think we should keep an eye on City squads as they might wanna move out few experienced defenders, I saw rumours about Stones or Akanji or Ake. 15m price maybe could be enough to get one of them if Guardiola wants them out and they got quite nice CL experience too. (Stones very injury prone tho, but imo class when fit) if Guehi still could be done at 35/40m, I would do that tho as home grown, and at a good age with PL experience and ready to hold down a starting spot for England too.
  11. hope he flops bigger than Nunez if he goes there. but then next summer they come after Isak again lol

    Yoane Wissa

all other attacking targets were bit different profile especially age wise. but if we can get Wissa for no more than 30m its a good rotational option and leaves money for recruit bit better on other important departments. max I would go is 30m+ 5m if he helps us to get back in CL straightaway.
  13. fair play to him he is working his ass off without a DoF assistance. Eddie should actually get paid Mitchells salary for last 2 months easily.. and there is a pre-season to manage as well. hope the next DoF we hire will be serious help as how it ended with Asworth and how nothing really happened under Mitchell, we are due for a proper DoF that adds lot of value and helps Eddie instead of trying to disagree and create tension.
  14. lets get a cheaper backup option who is still levels better than Wilson of course and with the money saved go big for a defender, GK and ideally a midfielder who comes as rotational.
  15. quite telling what the rivals in "Big 6" with no PSR risk doing, we go for Delap they sign him, we go for Pedro they sign him, we go for Ekitike they sign him. (we had some interest for Mbeumo, rags want to get him offering way more in fees and wages than we would have done) that alongside trying to mess with our top players... they are shit scared we build a squad that will not just overtake them once in a while each few seasons but we get a regular seat at the top table (= regular CL side with chance to win the league) honestly wouldnt be surprised if we move onto another attacker and Spurs, or Chelsea or Man U. wil again try to get involved. actually we should engineer some trap and go for a complete shit player and see who bites...
  16. are these still beinng milked for Mbeumo ? Brentford will end up selling him like he is Neymar or something lol.
  17. I hate Liverpool big time. worst club in PL. I do hope they dont retain the title despite the incredible summer spend which surely about to get bigger.
  18. not sure what fair market value can be tested when Puma is not an UAE company. what the PL gonna say oh its more than red cartel deals, so we dont accept? Puma combined yearly revenue is more than the 20 PL clubs put together. even if Puma was an UAE entity its still not legal what PL is doing with our deals from Saudi or City's with UAE connections. as it automatically starts from the theory if its certain arab country it must be fake sponsor and it must be directly to increase revenue. but red cartel would get Apple to sponsor one for them with a deal that blows out every sponsorship deals no one would have any issue whatsoever neither the PL. best exampe is Emirates putting lot of money into Arsenal and thats not sportwashing or illegal, stadium name and front of short since more than 20 years, overall sponsorship value must be over a billions or lot more, despite they won fuck all in 20 years, but with City another airplane company from same country as Emirates its all dodgy, illegal, fake while City winning everything. same with our Sala deal which is tiny compared to rivals deals, its sportwashing and fake sponsorship. Man United has Saudi sponsors too thats all above water nothing to see. if Sala said they want to sponsor Arsenal and offer 200m to replace the Emirates deal that is 50m, what do you think Arsenal would do? likely rip up that contract with emirates ... this is pure racism. I love how City fights the corrupt system, I love how Chelsea, Villa make it laughable with selling woman teams. this corrupt system need to go. its all a status quo, to preserve the selected few and make it extremely hard for anyone else regularly get a seat at the table for the big boys. even for us Howe's magic work only results in actual improvement because richer clubs like Spurs and Man United are seriously underperforming. had they been just doing what their squad should be doing they would be ahead of us in theory pushing us to 6/8th from 4/6th. even the CL money I saw on twatter what are the guaranteed money expected for English sides, ours was way below the other 4 clubs as apparently lot of the cash are given out based on coefficient of the 36 clubs and ours are almost rock bottom. if we have identical results as Liverpool in the whole CL season, and we are eliminated same stage as them, we still gonna get 25/30m less as prize money, how sick...
  19. We need Saudi league to help us a bit too. ASM was a good deal last time, but I think one of their rich sides could really use Targett and Vlachomidos for 15m each. ad stay away from the deadwood of our rivals please.
  20. Delap, J. Pedro, Ekitike, we are clearly trying. would love to see Delap's face if Ekitike ends up at Chelsea too. he went there thinking maybe can be a main striker rather than understudy to Isak but I bet Chelsea still gonna get a good attacker after Pedro lol especially with the CWC cash bonanza r they still can sell the air in their stadium for 50m pounds straightaway approved for PSR.
  21. still dont think we can get Ekitike and keep Isak too. its one thing to upgrade Wilson with Delap on the cheap, but Ekitike is very expensive for us as it is and Elanga was also high fee. while could see both Ekitike and Isak work in a tandem if one of them plays from the left, but we have Barnes and mainly Gordon for that. our high energy style will work differently when its a game every 3 days and some of those midweek CL games will be against elite sides ad very decent sides and maybe only one will be vs Champion of Slovenia or Czech R etc, so I want to see midfield and mainly defensive signings but also we need to replace Wilson with someone that can add goals and lead the line when Isak is injured. Delap would have been perfect for that role imo and his price was perfect as well leaving more to strengthen elsewhere. Ekitike is from different shelf, he was already main man at a Frankfurt a much better side than Ipswich, he will not come here to be understudy to anyone and with his price tag he needs to start. he could be ending at dippers as a starter, so no way we trying to sell him to be a rotational option here. I guess Howe must really like him tho given how long we are following him since. if dippers push for Isak, who is tried and tested in PL which is a big advantage to the likes of Darwin Nunez, Ekitike, Gyokeres, Sesko etc transfers we should ask for a fee and stick to it that will make them puke if they decide to pay it. 130m pounds bare minimum. PL transfer record and bit more.
  22. I am also in the camp that doesnt see how this is pulled off with both Isak and Gordon staying put with further areas to improve. there are lot of games coming up it will be huge fixture list between August and January once CL draw comes out, but 125m or so on Ekitike and Elanga on paper doesnt leave much for GK, CB, midfielder unnless there is serious income from sales which aint happening from the deadwood.
  23. I was hoping we get 2/3 players in by the time we face Celtic on the 19th of July. Thats Saturday next week. that would also give them almost full month of pre season to get used to the team/tactics /Howe etc before PL kicks off. Elanga would be nice addition if we can pull off.
  24. we re in for a shock in new CL format. we easily can end up playing 8 decent opponents or 8 teams anywhere between hard, decent or top class. we were quite unlucky 2 years ago with that group of death but new system is worse if you get unlucky draw here. PIF absolutely need to strengthen the first 11 and the squad as well to give Howe more chance for proper rotation. I recall he overused the first 11 in the CL season and that fucked us a bit due to added fixtures. right now he would do the same if the bench is as it is now to be fair. Al Hilal not doing too badly for them in the CWC, they should say ohh wait lets make Newcastle go far in the CL too. I bet they are in the ears of Ceferin to somehow get one Saudi league side involved in CL in future lol.
