So far it looks to have set us back and solved none of our issues. BUT, there's some pretty big situations that threw it into the mess it is. Wissa was for replacing Wilson, then Isak leaves. Wissa then gets injured. Elanga was a smart buy on paper...but it just hasn't paid off...yet. Ramsey is decent...but not what we needed and hasn't had enough games to show anything. Woltemade is class...but in the absolutely wrong tactics for him. Thaiw has been a very good buy. But our midfield is currently leaving way too many gaps and not closing down the opposition when their midfield is on the attack/in possession. And our passing is shocking, way too often. There needs to be more time on sorting this out in training, but the amount of time between games means there's very few days of training to fix it. Sometimes just 1 day!

These kind of loses smart more than most. The kind where a win will be more than 3 points. It would shoot us up the league, help gap those below us, give us a massive boost etc etc. It didn't happen, and it wasn't for the want of trying. Ruined yesterday...but today is meh. We go on.

Honestly...the overall takeaway I have from watching us is...when we play well it's very much thanks to our midfield chasing down the oppositions midfield. So many times today we just stood off, over and over. Gutted. It would have been great going up the table.

For all of our possession, the final balls have been shockingly poor. So many good points, but ultimately let down by lack of quality and poor positioning from our forward play. Just another devastating "what could have been" game.
