Hall is fucking wonderful.

20 mins in, it's looking like a mountain to climb, but we've had 2 massive chances, and there's still 70 mins to play. Still a game to watch. Shame Willock has gone floppy brain, again. And Ramsey is looking star struck.

2 huge chances so far. Positive side is we're getting the opportunities.

Woltemade is like that horse and giant ball gif. It's so obvious we get too few days to train together. Shame this is a semi, as the next game is the final, so no bright side to going out.

Football, and other spectator sports, is all about overcoming hurdles, and the excitement at the possibility of winning. And while it's highly unlikely we'll go to City's place and overturn the 0-2...we have to believe it's possible. Otherwise, what's the point in supporting? Again, history and current facts show it's unlikely, but I want to be watching if we DO overcome this deficit. It would be epic! And that's "the point" for me. Last year's cup final was against arguably one of the best teams in the world (at the time). And we fucking wrecked them!

When we won this cup, people acted like it wasn't a big trophy etc. Look at the way the Arsenal bench celebrated that. They're showing they were just jealous the Toon took the silverware, last year.

He's been outstanding for us. One game it doesn't click and he's being doubted again. There where many more to blame before him, and he was very positive throughout. He doesn't hide, spots overlaps, and actually shoots.

I'm no Howe apologist, but he set us up brilliantly, and we tore them apart for the first 30-40 mins. There are definite issues HE needs to get on top of. Our falloff is predictable, our gaps are not new, subs are poor for the moment, etc etc. He's not flawless. But, I've said this before...having a day (2 if we're lucky) training between games cannot be anything other than damaging. Especially with a big group of new players.

At half time I was incredibly proud of us, and thought we could get something. Pope should have gotten their second (I think it was), but I thought Elanga was having his best game, and Gordon was working in the formation. Ramsey was solid...doing a job without being a standout. Things were looking up. Second half...we've fallen to pieces. Subs have been wank. Wissa is plodding around, and barely putting effort in, Nick is flopping around with zero control. POPE then fucks up and makes it even more embarrassing. Great!

Ramsey's been excellent, IMHO.

I think there's a shout for this. We were excellent for the first 30 mins. 2 goals deflated us. But we've had decent moments...just not enough efforts on goal.
