Crumpy Gunt
Link JOHNSTONE (Lemington). Peacefully in hospital, after a long illness, on 21st August 2006, aged 59 years, Edith, beloved wife of John, a dearly loved mam of Paul and Karen, a dear mother-in-law of Donna and Ian, a much loved grandma of Claire, Michael, Rachel, Jonnathon and Adam and a loving sister of Janet, George and Arnold. Family and friends please meet for Funeral Service at Sugley Parish Church on Tuesday 29th August at 11.45am, followed by cremation at West Road Crematorium at 12.30pm. Floral tributes gratefully accepted with the exemption of red and white arrangements. A wife, a mother, a grandma too, this is the legacy we have from you. You taught us love and how to fight, you gave us strength, you gave us might, a stronger person would be hard to find, and in your heart, you were always kind, you fought for us all in one way or another, not just as a wife, not just as a mother, for all of us you gave your best, now the time has come for you to rest, so go in peace, you've earned your sleep, your love in our hearts, we'll eternally keep. With love from all your family. Afterwards at Lemington Labour Club, all friends and neighbours welcome. First appeared on 24 Aug 2006 A message from beyond. RIP fella. East End did sometimes, but they didn't actually have fixed colours. Other colours they played in were Navy with Orange and Green (which is what the away strip we had about 8-9 years ago was based on), Chocolate Brown and they also played a few games in Black and White Stripes. It was pretty much the same when the name was changed to Newcastle United, but Black and White stripes quickly became the fixed colours, although the shorts took a little bit longer, as they were sometimes black, sometimes white, and sometimes navy. Leazes1986
Can anyone remember that Look North program after the match against the scum at SJP in 00/01, when there was this fat bloke getting interviewed on the quayside and he said "i don't eat bacon because it's red"? Wullie
Can anyone remember that Look North program after the match against the scum at SJP in 00/01, when there was this fat bloke getting interviewed on the quayside and he said "i don't eat bacon because it's red"? As a rule, I won't wear red like. It just feels wrong.
