The allianz arena is of course complete so there are no updates for this anymore, but here is the latest on Wembley and Ashburton Grove.

Quite looking forward to the new Wembley.  About the only project Britain/England hasn't messed up in the last 10 years.

In saying that, I was always a fan of the old Wembley.  Thought it was a great stadium, always had a great atmosphere.

It's not finished yet, just wait for the uproar if it isn't ready in time for the FA Cup final.

True, I can't deny that.  Went to see Darlington play in a play-off final with my brother, and whilst it was great, it was fairly shoddy.

It was terrible - it only had a great atmosphere cos it was almost always full

I was playing footie up in kilburn near wembley yesterday and you can see the arch thingy from a fair distance away. At least they aren't doing a cowboy job on it and making  the stadium of st mary riverside light clone like most new grounds are these days. Arsenals new place looks quite good aswell, shame the area around it is a bit of a dump.

According to the news down here the other day, the only things left to do at wembley are the pitch (the most important thing really) and finish off the roof, they apparently started putting the seats in a couple of weeks ago and they think that they will be finished bang on time. They've tarted up the tube stations aswell so the access is much better.

LEG ROOM!

Terrible for an atmosphere, these people aren't building stadiums but showrooms.

Unless it's a deliberate design element so in the future they can increase capacity by adding more seets by decreasing leg room.

I think they got SJP's 'space' spot on.

Far to much leg room, still if its a dull game then you've got plenty of space for a kip.

I actually like that, don't have to get up all the time..
