LiquidAK
What the hell has happened to them this season? 2 points of the relegation zone with 33 games gone, and when you look at the players they have that's just shocking. Apparently it's a loss of confidence, and despite winning the Copa del Rey, they just sacked their 2nd manager of the season. Now players like Villa are advertising themselves out to teams like Arsenal, saying they want to jump ship. So basically, things not going well at Valencia. Who out of their current squad would you want us to go for, if they do go down? I would like to see us make an offer for Joaquin, we need a right sided winger, as all we have at the moment is Milner. Haven't seen much of him recently, but for Betis he used to be a very good player, still only 26.

Syrette
Mata, Vicente, Villa, Albelda, Joaquin, Zigic, Caniera, Miguel, Silva, Banega, Maduro, Albiol. So much quality in that side. We'd have problems getting any of the above even if they did get relegated.
Parsley
David Silva and Raul Albiol would be nice, maybe Maduro as well..

We'd have problems getting any of the above even if they did get relegated. Most of them are big names rather than being that good anymore. Not sure what you're on about. A lot of the listed players are young, some of them are hardly big names and those that are (Villa, Joaquin, maybe Albelda, Silva and Vicente too) have proved their quality. The 'past-it'/'not that good anymore' players are still only 29-30 and would still improve us. Mata has a decent future. Vicente is a bit hit and miss but is only 26 and is a quality player on his day. Villa, I don't need to say anything about. Albelda is 30 and has obviously not had a great season but not for lack of ability, just a strange former manager. Joaquin maybe a little overrated but he is far better than any of our current midfielders and would improve us massively if we could get him in. Zigic is testament to the quality and depth of Valencia's squad as he can't get many games despite having a very decent scoring record. Caniera is hardly a big name and would do a similar job to Beye now. Same with Miguel. Silva isn't what I'd call a huge name yet either but has proved his quality time after time and is still very young with a lot of potential. Banega has gone there with a lot of promise (and a webcam video) and will probably be a huge player for Argentina in the coming years even if he isn't in the same quality category as some of his international teammates. Maduro isn't a huge name and I don't think he is the greatest defender out there but he's as good as if not better than anyone we've got bar Beye and perhaps Enrique. Albiol is fantastic and would go to a bigger club than us if he came to leave Valencia.

Newcastle Fan
I personally blame Koeman..you can't treat international players who are respected by their teamates and who've all played a huge part in the clubs progress in the past the way he did, its an absolute disgrace how he treated Albelda, Canizares and Vicente and others, yes he won the copa del rey but tbf he fucked up big time, fully deserves the sack.. Unbelievable
Always said Koeman was shit, even when people were bandying his name around for the Newcastle manager post. So glad we didn't go for him. He got a 4 million payoff as well. Bastard.

Taylor Swift
Silva please He's quality in FM, that's all I can say Seen him a few times this season for Valencia and quite often last year and they do possess a squad that's full of quality, but just somehow not able to keep hold of possession in games, which, honestly, is surprising since a few of these players are leftovers from the years they won the two titles and those teams were one of the best possession-football teams in Europe at the time. Miguel and Joaquin aren't really getting hyped up at the moment, if that is what you are insinuating. Both are decent but I'd hardly say they're being overrated by anybody at the moment. Adam
Koeman is a total toss pot, he ruined the team, came in and told Canizares that he wouldnt play agen, now i know he is getting on but he is still a top class keeper, did the same with albelda and angulo. Glad he is gone, don't think they will sell anyone Villa may go but it would have to be a big offer. I follow valencia quite a bit and if we were looking to get players from them, Silva and mata would be the ones to go for, would cost a bomb but Silva would piss all over the zog. vicente_14
The season has been a disaster for Valencia, the manager at the start of the season Quique Sanchez Flores fell out with the sporting director Amedeo Carboni. They never sorted their differences, and after some avergae displays the supporters were calling for the head of Flores. He left, the ego maniac Koeman arrived and immediately tried to throw his weight about, make his mark and show who was the boss, wielding the axe to Canizares, Albelda and Angulo, 3 long serving and key squad members. That didn't sit well with the rest of the squad, and he started fielding younger players and he attempted to stamp his authority upon the squad, whilst some of the players used, have lots of potential and have bright futures, they were not ready to be thrown in at the deep end. Confidence was shot and the players started playing for themselves, lifting themselves for cup games, and basically playing how they wanted to play in those games. The players believe they work best in a 4-4-2, Koeman preferred 4-3-3/4-5-1 or even some experiments with 3-5-2, which didn't work. Koeman, thankfully, has now gone, and Voro is in charge, the first thing he did was bring back Albelda, canizares and Angulo to train with the first team squad. Key players have spent much of the season out injured also, David Villa suffered a lack of form and service for a key chunk of the season, and will be gone in the summer, and despite his goals, isn't the most popular character in the dressing room. Vicente has had an injury nightmare for the best part of two years, and whilst he was one of the worlds best wingers, major doubts remain as to what sort of level he can return to. Joaquin has obvious quality, but has struggled due to Koeman's rotation of him. Miguel still has much to offer but seems disillusioned and uninterested and maybe needs a move to get going again. The squad has plenty of quality, Albelda, Albiol, Silva, Vicente, Joaquin, Morientes, Villa, Mata, Canizares, Hildebrand, Sunny, and Banega, and they should just avoid the drop, but there could still be a huge clearout in the summer, when, Marcelino is expected to take charge.
