Ally
Our IT geek bloke at work sent us an email today - the most viewed website in the whole company (theres about 50 of us in the office) is Newcastle-Online. I am the only person in the whole place who supports NUFC. Never realised how much time I waste there!
Dave
Ours was taken away a few years ago, after many people were found to be taking the piss. I was on the top ten list within our group of companies. Talking thousands of staff. I was on a spree of downloading Mega Drive roms at the time though.
Wullie
I'm fairly glad we're not allowed on at work, I really would do fuck all.
Nobody
Maybe GG, Kingdawson, Martin Jol and Brummie all work at the same company?
Ally
I've not been on at all today until I got home, really need to stop coming on in the day or i'll get the fucking sack.
Disco
Hate people at work who go on like the world will end if i don't stop catching a 5min break here or there to have a browse on the web or whatnot, same as people going for tabs etc IMO, so long as you're getting the graft done whats the issue? davy_fulla
Pretty quiet at work at the moment so probably spending about 6hrs of me day trawling pointless stuff. Makes the day drag to be honest.
Guest Geordiesned
I'm fairly glad we're not allowed on at work, I really would do fuck all. One lad was actually escorted from the premises a few years back for abusing the internet. (...and sending porn to female colleagues)

Cajun
My internet access at work didn't last long. Quite surprised I wasn't sacked because I do actually need a few sites to do my job.
Northerngimp
Hmm our whole company uses it and we are wolrd wide. pretty hard to stop. I think they are ok with it as long as you are not going on porn sites etc. Only sites I visit are, this, BBC, Nufc.com, true-faith, Amazon, play.com and random history websites. Cant get on much at work anymore tho
Adam
I remember talking to one of the IT guys a uni (Newcastle uni), main ones were google, facebook, bbc and owa. Next one was something like ebay, no idea where NO was though. I just use it to rapidshare stuff, its stupidly fast, must of downloaded about 40 GB and never had a warning

One lad was actually escorted from the premises a few years back for abusing the internet. (...and sending porn to female colleagues) They're proposing making that illegal up here in Scotland now. Seriously. If you send emails with anything that could be construed as sexual content, with the intent of causing offence or upset to the recipient, you could end up on the sex offenders' register. I shit you not. http://news.scotsman.com/latestnews/New-laws-to-target-sex.4200193.jp Won't be long before that legislation makes its way through the Westminster if the "PC brigade" get their way. Guest Heneage
My Dads mate got sacked for sending slightly saucey emails to his lass. A lad got in major shit for bypassing school systems to get pictures of Chyna the wrestler naked. And so did someone who put an Enviroment to block their cameras out. Ours even tells oyu what your typing or did rather at school, fucking joke.
Guest Sez
My Dads mate got sacked for sending slightly saucey emails to his lass. Ours even tells oyu what your typing or did rather at school, f***ing joke. Tbf he deserved to have the shit kicked out of him for that, let alone get a telling-off. My first day at work my boss told me it was a fairly slow job and that I should just go online all day. Ta very much.
AfroP
theres a lot of blocked sites at my place, facebook youtube etc etc and we only have an hours worth of internet time each day however myself and the rest of my team bypass all of that crap by using firefox and Virtual P/c :-)
Tooj
Spending the day trying to fit in as many Partridge quotes as I can via e-mail around the office.
Ally
Facebook has now been blocked, Nazis! It turns out that the Newcastle-Online 2nd place rating was a bit exaggerated. The IT geek said that its based on individual hits or something, so every time you open a new thread, page etc it classes as a new website.

indi
Never read my work emails, so I only found out today that I actually had a username and password to get on t'internet. I'm hardly ever at a desk anyway, so it doesn't make much difference anyway.

And have you got that lass of yours up the duff yet?
