AfroP
US, July 14, 2008 - Well y'know, IGN-a-maniacs, just a few months ago a THQ investor call unofficially announced a little title called WWE Legends of WrestleMania. For the past two months, we've been saying our prayers and eating our vitamins in hopes that more info on this game's epic onslaught of classic talent would be released. Thankfully, today's that day. Yes, with E3 set to kick into high gear, THQ has officially detailed Legends, a title that will harken back to the days of neon shirts, mullets, and the classic heel/babyface dynamic. Set in the 1980/1990s, Legends will feature more than 40 grapplers from one of the golden ages of sports entertainment. We don't know a lot of the folks we'll be seeing in the game, but we do know that Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant are in as well as a smattering of valets and managers that play an important role in matches. In related, awesome news: Bobby "The Brain" Heenan has been confirmed. "WWE fans are extremely supportive of our leading fighting videogame franchise, WWE SmackDown vs. Raw, and they have wanted a Legends-based game for quite some time," said Tracy Williams, THQ director of global brand management. "WWE Legends of WrestleMania has the right combination of talent, gameplay and presentation elements to extend the sports entertainment videogame experience and enable gamers to relive, rewrite or redefine classic moments etched in WWE's history books." Legends aims to recreate the telecasts of the time with "signature ring entrances, renowned commentators, notable venues and much more" and will also implement a brand new combo fighting system that is grapple-based. Taunts, strike attacks, and reversals will also make up the control scheme as Superstars battle in "current and nostalgic match types." Sadly, that's where the Legends news ends, but be sure to check out the screenshots below and keep an eye out for our E3 look at WWE Legends of WrestleMania this week.Just because we don't know what other wrestlers are in WWE Legends of WrestleMania doesn't mean that we're going to stop dreaming copied from Tooj's link

Skeletor
Andre does too many moves in that trailer. He was a guy who could barely do anything. Still I hope Gorilla Monsoon commentates!
Shak
I hope you can edit all the move-sets. Used to have great fun getting Big Show to do Shooting-Star Presses off the top of a ladder set up in the ring onto opponents who were lying on the announce table. pedro111
That trailer looked class imo. They captured the 'feel' of that era very well. There a SO many names I hope make it into this game.

pedro111
Andre does too many moves in that trailer. He was a guy who could barely do anything. Still I hope Gorilla Monsoon commentates! They could easily take recordings of certain sayings and phrases the great man used from the probably thousands of hours of commentry he provided throughout that era and put them in the game. It's essentially all there if they're using wrestlers from his era anyway.

pedro111
Bret Hart had better be on this game. Only so I can Sweet Chin Music him! Going by the name of the game, just think of any classic WM matches and those wrestlers are bound to make it in, so Bret Hart is probably a given.
