No Nudes Is Good Nudes For Britons

Wednesday October 25, 05:59 PM

Nudity in public is the greatest modern taboo, according to a survey. Almost two out of five (37%) people placed nakedness at the top of a list of unacceptable public practices. It was followed by wearing a hoodie (12%), public displays of affection (11%) and breast-feeding (9%).

Mobile ring tones, arguing and drinking alcohol came next.

The survey was conducted by Hasbro, makers of the board game The Big Taboo, to mark the fourth National Game Playing Week.

Nick Atkinson, of British Naturism, said British people still had unnecessary hang-ups about nudity.

He said: "I am shocked that people rate nudity in public as more offensive than drinking alcohol or farting."

The top ten taboos, compiled with answers from 3,013 people, was:

1. Being naked in public (37%)

2. Wearing a hoodie (12%)

3. Public displays of affection (11%)

4. Breast-feeding (9%)

5. Mobile phone ringtones (8%)

6. Arguing (7%)

7. Drinking alcohol (6%)

8. Litter (3%)

9. Smoking (2%)

10 Flatulence (2%)

Biggest taboo I heard of lately is in white for those not of a nervous disposition:

Someone told me there is a fetish where someone quite literally gets facefucked; via their false eye socket.

Bollocks is PDA a fucking taboo nowadays, if the behaviour you see everywhere is anything to go by. It's fucking annoying, yes, but hardly taboo.

Having a hand held is an offence nowadays???

Holding hands is alright. It's holding anything else that's a bit iffy.

'PDA's as they now seem to be called on here are more annoying than a taboo i'd say. The other day on the subway it was completely packed, everyone was crushed together and still there was a couple getting off right beside me. Im pretty sure they salivated on my arm, not that they would of noticed.

PDA is a common abbreviation for Public Display of Affection. Given that was also one of the options in the list, come oooonnn guys.
