Fugazi
Off work today due to my finger injury, and fancy going out for a long drive somewhere. Last time I just went Morpeth, anyone recommend a decent place to visit?

I've just seen this thread but I'm definitely going to 'third' that one. I was driving back home from Stoke last month and realised it had been a while since I'd came up the M6 to Penrith then across through Alston. On a lush summer night it was a stunning drive and really keeps you on edge - especially after 150 miles on the motorway without changing gear.
