Decky
http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2008/09/fresh-take-on-browser.html They said they wanted to make free software that would compete with Internet Explorer, Office and even Windows. Hopefully this is the start of something good.
mouldy_uk
Available to download http://www.google.com/chrome/index.html?hl=en-GB&brand=CHMG&utm_source=en-GB-hpp&utm_medium=hpp&utm_campaign=en-GB First impressions are pretty good. Like having tabs at the top of the screen, still not sure where the 'home' button has gone. Also it didn't like the preview window for this post. Nice and quick though. edit - found the homepage button on one of the options menus
Legacy
It's quick but it is also very basic looking, not sure what to make of it going off first impressions.
Decky
Using it now, i like it

colinmk
Thought google and firefox were like brother and sister?
Legacy
There seems to be some problems playing youtube videos from forums and certain features on facebook, even simple ones refuse to work. I'm still liking it though.
Adam
Firefox is still the daddy of the browsers.

indi
So since I downloaded Chrome it tries to connect to various google addresses every few seconds whether I'm using it or not. Fucking annoying really.
marko1892
Has anyone else used this? I'm on it as we speak. The reason for getting it is that I had stupidly high CPU useage with Firefox even after doing walkthroughs on the Internet of how to fix the bug. Never really been a fan of Internet Explorer also. Opera is the other solution to these two but ive never really used that as up until a month or so ago I had no problem at all with Firefox. Google Chrome is such a basic browser, Theres no menu tab at the top very simplistic: http://www.gamesforthebrain.com/google-chrome/screens/google-chrome-screenshot.jpg
Guest Stephen927
Yeah, I use it. I like it, I think it's pretty damn good.

Adam
I like the layout but its lacking functions. The search text feature on ff3 is far better than the one on chrome. If I could have the chrome interface on FF I would be happy.
Guest Chris P
looks good , but they,ve to get people writing add-on's for it, like firefox.
