Apple Airport Express

Can anyone tell me whether an Airport Express thingy from Apple can be used to wirelessly access an existing broadband network?

In my house we have an existing wired ethernet network for the whole house, installed by the landlord. What I want to do is add my own wireless access point so I can use things like iTunes remote and Airtunes, as well as my xbox live wireless router.

If I plug the airport express into the existing ethernet network, will I be able to access it wirelessly?

Cheers!

Cheers, I've looked through those FAQs as well but it's a bit confusing. Seems quite versatile though, so I'll probably be able to get it to do what I want.

Nobody has done what I'm talking about though? Would be reassuring!

Edit: Just read that again and it seems it definitely will work. Thanks elbee.

aye ive got it set up, 1 o2 wireless router and 3 airport express around the house extending the signal and streaming itunes into every room - great for house parties

How big is your house ? I just have one wireless access point, and I have 90%+ in every room in the house !
