been out for a meal in manchestr, and came out to find my car had gone.

now i was parked in a disbad spot outside the restaurant, didnt actualy realise it but turns out i was.

called the police, they said it hadnt been reported as towed and usually would have by now.

my gut feeling (i hope) is that its been towed, but who do i call to find out?

anyone had this before??

couldn't the police give you the number of the towing company and report it stolen just in case.

I'm relieved your car was towed. Especially since its seems from the quality of your typing etc that you were probably contemplating drink-driving otherwise.

Oh, and I'm not buying the disabled parking spot excuse either.

how can you not know if it was stolen!! :crazy2:

was there glass on the floor?

if you dont know where your car is report it stolen anyways..the worst is that the police will tell you its been towed away.

Sticky keys don't confuse MY understanding of the letters printed on them, or whether I drank-drove, drunk-drived or have been 'drink-driving'  O0

Glad the car, carr, or carpet has been located mate!

See people parking in the loading bays all the time in town by mistake tbh......kinda hard sometimes to know when it`s a loading bay when it`s sandwiched in between a load of `legitimate` parking spaces and it`s not clearly marked
