Is this a really stupid idea?

I need to wash my car. It's a disgrace. However, because of the layout of my flat and parking spot, it would be impossible to use a Karcher as I can't get a hose and power lead out properly. So I won't be buying one.

But I was thinking (it'll obviously be fine for simple rinsing at the beginning and end), could I use a Super Soaker to fire on some soapy water?

If you've got one of them fucking massive £40 jobs, then yeah, go wild.

If you were cheap and got one from poundsaver, I think you're in for a long day.

Why don't you just drive it to a car wash?  ???

Because that would not be a really stupid idea, and would have rendered this thread redundant.

I'd rather scratch it myself.

Not necessarily a drive-thru one but one with a powerful jetwash contraption thingy that you do yourself.

It would be just like playing with a jet-powered watergun

I know what you mean, but there are none around here. As you may have gathered from the state of the thing in the first place, I'm rather lazy.

Therefore I want to do it at home. There's the cost as well, btw.

A trip to Toys R Us awaits! :D

Bucket of water and a sponge?

My first thought as soon as i read this thread.

Its hard to be a genius isnt it pedro :(

Geniuses are people who come up with great ideas out of the extraordinary which takes ordinary stuff like washing a car to a whole new level. Hence Dave is the real genius here for his Super Soaker idea.
