If this happened without the Kinnear bit. We would all be excited as fuck. Speak for yourself. He was not a football man and that was clearly a problem, but many of the community initiatives he has overseen have been good, the finances were good, the player trading has been fine. He gave me as much confidence in that side of the club as I could have as things stood, and genuinely felt he was a moderating influence on Mike. He's just bailing from a sinking ship before he takes any blame. He's a rat...and he's jumped ship before it's too late. His leaving won't be the reason things get worse. He's just left before they inevitably will. It's not that we're discovering a new-found love for Llambias. This would be like David Cameron being replaced by Screaming Lord Sutch. He's been very quiet and I imagine is seeking legal advice. It's Keegan v Wise all over again (although not to the same extent) Ashley must be laughing his tits off. There has obviously been big fall-outs at the end of season with 'mistakes being made' quotes all over the place. Ashley doesn't obviously trust Llambias or Pardew. It would seem odd that he made the statement ushering in Kinnear if he had such a big problem with it. I suspect that as a group they all talk quite freely away from the public eye. See how it pans out, but I have heard from a reasonable "sauce" that it was Dekka who appointed JFK without consulting the owner and not the other way round, which confounds most previous posts. It's feasible. As MD you hire and fire and don't have to consult shareholders (or owner in this case) to do so. Make sense ? Nah, but probably about as much sense as anything else does.
