Segun Oluwaniyi
I don't think paper money will be replaced. It is fiat money, so as long as the government backs it is has value. Even as there are more and more electronic forms of money, there will still be paper and coins for easy use and all.
GM
Back to bartering, then. Which is great news for the Toon so long as we've got a bunch of cockney barra boys running the show. Ashley & Kinnear: better than Del Boy & Rodders at the old wheeling and dealing!

The problem is that no one wants to take on debt no mo, especially the banks..fingers burnt an all that. A vast amount of the worlds capital right now exists as digital money. Parky
What are you actually talking about, Parks? The collapse of the financial system. So not actually "paper money" then? Well that is the bit that will affect us the fastest and the most. ie food in shops etc...I guess digital money (cards will follow) but not being an expert that might be able to be shored up a while longer.
