Mowen
Alright guys and gals. I don't know if anyone here can do anything like this, but my Granny's asked me to find out a rough valuation for this old camera... only I've lost the details I jotted down! If anyone reckons they have a rough idea from these photos, or would get a decent idea from getting the proper details that would be cracking. I can get hold of the makes etc., just can't be arsed tonight! As you can see, it's still got a case and three lenses - pretty sure one is for close ups and one is for wide angle. It's decent equipment, but must be the best part of 30 years old by now. http://img168.imageshack.us/img168/2348/dsc00065cz9.jpg http://img168.imageshack.us/img168/1788/dsc00066xx3.jpg Cheers in advance. Mick
My guess is that it's a Pentax ME Super, it should tell you on the front left as you look at it. If it is then you might get between £50 and £100 if you are very lucky.
Mowen
Cheers for the info guys. Basically the guy in the camera shop told her it was worth £50, but would have been £150 a couple of years ago, don't think she'll bother selling if it's just for £50, but she'd like to know. I've found the info, It's a Pentax ME Super. I just wrote down as much as I could off the lenses, I didn't understand any of it but here goes: An SMC Pentax-M 1:2.8 28mm Asahi optical company 1:1.7 50mm Super OZECK Auto Tele Photo, Clee Focusing MC, 1:2.8 f=135mm With a Tamrac carrying bag. Mowen
.....and I've just thought of one more question. Is it the sort of thing that is liable to appreciate in value at all as time goes on? My dad seems to think this, but provides no justification for it...
