MidfieldGeneral Posted December 31, 2008 Share Posted December 31, 2008 When I had XP I used to record quite a bit off internet radio using Winamp and a program called Stream Ripper. My old pc died a fortnight ago so I went out and bought a new Base Unit from PC World on Saturday. New pc runs off Vista and I've just tried to record something for the 1st time since I bought it and I've got the following error message "SR_ERROR_CANT_CREATE_FILE". Munkey Posted January 2, 2009 Share Posted January 2, 2009 never used Stream Ripper, but Audacity's free and it's very easy to use. the only pain i found when i initially used it was that i had to tweak the settings a bit as the first output was very tinny.
