Just came back from a long term injury & played very well against Man Utd tonight, scored a fantastic FK & his pen wernt too bad either. Maybe we should keep an eye on his progress/fitness in the near future, no idea how much he would cost though.

Opinions?

Woop woop.

Good young player, had injury problems. Can't see why he wouldn't be attainable at a "decent" price. Is also quite verstatile. Would be worth a punt but will probably end up somewhere like Spurs.

Remarkably restrained from you, Cajun. Normally you'd be :fwap: ing yourself silly over young Giles.

You've changed.:sadnod:

I had to adapt to survive.

Now its more "We won't get him because we are in shit, the least attractive club ever!" when it was once "he will come and we will probably go on to be a better version of Messi".

Roeder wanted to sign him.

Shame Fat Fred didn't back him by getting in the players he wanted...

he's hardly played since then because of various injuries.

if derby go down he'll be going for next to nothing. worth a gamble.

Ooooooh the knee one sounds iffy.

seriously i'd only risk an injury prone player right now if he "WAS" the deal as opposed to a risk.

That free kick was incredible, over the wall and in off the base of the post, you don't see that too often.

He'll be injured next week though.

£3m, and loan back to Derby for the rest of the season.

Let him build back his fitness there.

I think they would consider that considering where they may be next season

Now come on, that would just be far too sensible for us to do!

We need players in now, if the budget's as tight as we are led to believe, I don't think we can afford to blow any of it on a player we won't be able to pick till next season.

Considering how many of our problems over the years have been caused by injuries, I can't believe how many people are suggesting we gamble on a player that has a terrible injury record and has only managed 1 start this season.
