STM
Thought we were going to get back together today but she told me she got with someone last night. I'm absolutely gutted and need some words of wisdom. Revenge?
mattypnufc
Hang out the back of as many lasses as possible. Then enjoy a few doses, then start again with the relationship shite.
Dave
That's harsh mate, sorry to hear that. This is very clichéd but if she's so quick to go elsewhere you're probably better off without her. Don't bother with revenge, concentrate your efforts on moving on and you'll soon find things easier.

Tooj
Sorry to hear that mate. I know it's a cliché but time really is a great healer on matters like this. As long as you've got a good group of mates who can help you through all of this.

Pilko
Give it a week then go out on the pull again. You'll feel better after the week provided you keep yourself busy - don't mope about and sit round by yourself - make sure you're active or with mates or whatever. GM
Feel for you mate, I really do. I can understand you wanting revenge, but don't give into hate. Revenge will only leave you feeling much much worse than you do now. Try to see what she's done to you as a blessing in disguise. Above all though, don't let her selfishness make you feel inadequate or pessimistic. Just ignore the silly bitch and get busy living, mate.

Guest lankybellwipe
Aye, sorry to hear that mate, follow the revenge advice, stay away from it. The best 'revenge' is to carry on with your life and see what tomorrow brings
Fatwax
Thought we were going to get back together today but she told me she got with someone last night. I'm absolutely gutted and need some words of wisdom. Revenge? Just let it go. I've had something similar happen to me before and it hurts like hell but as people have said, time will help you move on. Always a good time to change something in your life.. start up a new sport, go running, get in contact with mates you haven't seen for years.
Jay Jay Sea
Where does she live mate? Get me some rope, some petrol, scissors, four/five bin-liners and a hack-saw (all for under £10) and I'll sort it for you. PM me. Have a think. First week is hard but like the chaps ahve said, keep busy, get drunk for a week and I swear you will feel ok after 6/7 days. The hardest bit is phone watching in the vain hope of a text. Delete her number. Contact your phone service provider and get her number/messages blocked. If you PM me of course you can save yourself the bother. Good luck chap. Yorkie
Gutted for you there, mate. The exact turn of events happened to me... although it wasn't her who told me she got with someone else... so yeah, i can pretty much echo other people's comments. Time is a healer, and all that. I'd try to avoid contact with her aswell. Bit of a 'stroppy' way of doing things but it works if you ask me. Remain tight-nit, good friends and all that, and it'll take longer for the feelings to completely go away - if ever. So if it's possible, avoid her. Controversial? Dunno - just speaking from past experience really.

WhatTheFunk
Cheers mate, it's horrible to find out that someones like that though. Can't believe she'd do that to someone she "loved". Hard luck mate. But you know what?? you are the fucking prize man!! if she can't see that then it's her fault. If you've treated her with respect, and she's gone out and done this to you, she doesn't deserve a moment of you feeling gutted about her. And don't take this as her rejecting you. Don't let the rejection get to you. She's obviously fickle about her feelings, and just think that if the relationship had gone on for longer, how much bullshit you could have been fed by her. Good riddance to bad rubbish. If you have some sweet memories with her, cherish those and move on. Don't think about what just happened, and don;t hold a grudge. And as is always the case, the best remedy to getting over a girl is getting inside another. So pick yourself up, take a good long shower to wash any thoughts of her off you, and come out that bath feeling like a new man again. Go out on the pull, and enjoy the company of your friends. Do not choose revenge, because not going for it is sweet enough revenge as it is. Good luck fella. Talk to us some more if you need any more support.
