TRC
I was asking about this in another thread, but it was slightly off topic. I need some flights to the US, but they are so expensive at the moment. Anyone know when the best time to get them is? I thought they would be cheaper than last year due to the credit crunch. Guest Gemmill
Quite a few discounts in January apparently. The days of really cheap flights to the US seem to be over though. I haven't seen any really good deals for ages. KLM were always the cheapest I could find - means going via Amsterdam though which is a bit of a clart on. TRC
All I can find at the minute is stuff for Easter, whereas I'm looking fo the Summer. Aer Lingus are cheap, but I don't trust the pikeys

Crumpy Gunt
I was on hotukdeals.com last night browsing and one of the deals was 2 weeks in vegas for £500ish. Hotel incl. It was about 10/12 pages in mind, maybe give that a search and see if the deal is still active.
TRC
I'm going for 5 weeks, travelling various parts of the country. But cheers anyways, most of the websites come back £450 at the cheapest. Last year I know people who got flights at £250.

indi
Can't remember exactly where, but somewhere on here: http://farecast.live.com/ they have something that let's you see graphs of how the fare has gone up and down over time and I seem to remember that they can show you what happened last year. It also provides a prediction of whether the fair is likely to go up or down and advice as to if you should wait or not.
