Twenty past eleven. What a totally random time to announce such a thing; he fall out of bed or summat? ???

It's just running on the news feed. Has been for a few hours.

Well what a fucking kick in the balls that is. That said - wasn't it originally announced he was out for like eight weeks? Stuff might be decided by that point anyway so i was preparing for a run-in without him...

We needed another centre-mid before this news came about tbh.

Would have thought it'd have been noticed sooner then....

I noticed it earlier, didn't really think it worth posting since it had already been reported as a torn hamstring.

We need to hijack that Barnes deal to Fulham.

Was thinking that earlier.

Providing he has the stomach for a fight, of course.

Was just thinking that myself actually. That'd be quite hot.

Jointly holds the record for most Premiership games without a win (with Gareth Bale). Factamundo.

A hamstring is normally only about 6 weeks isn't it?  ???

Ask Kieron Dyer. Like any muscular injury i guess it depends on the severity of it.

Could just be a generalisation like - wouldn't surprise me. He's out for a while whatever, really - but we already knew that.

Seems a bit ott to say he won't play again before May but there you go.
