Right I've just got Lost Odyssey and its decent nothing amazing imho. Is there a game on this consol that is any where near as good as FF7? I've got Fable, Fallout 3, Mass Effect, and Eternal Sonata which is literally a game for 11 year old girls (thanks dan b for convincing me to take it off your hands). Any help would be much appreciated.

Lost Odyssey was awesome.

People will probably tell you to buy oblivion. Frankly though you'd be better off going into a field with a wooden sword in medieval uniform and stabbing the random bits of wildlife that live there. Alternatively just lie down on the grass and slowly die of old age, as that will be more enjoyable than oblivion too.

If you like Fallout, you'll probably enjoy Oblivion, as it's made by the same people, and has the same basic set-up.

I never liked JRPG's so, I don't get the hype about FF...

I see what you did there; you rolled your eyes at me.

To tell you the truth mate I wasn't amazed by Fallout 3 prefered 1 and 2 myself and I got Oblivion for the PC a few years ago there was far too much walking around doing nothing  :undecided:

The whole FF7 thing is it was the first rpg I played, the graphics were amazing and it hooked me like no other game before or since. I think its one of those things that you love simply because its from your childhood like ninja turtles or transformers.

Lost Odyssey is great. Should really finish that.

Oblivion is...good in a "who gives a shit" kind of way.

Mass Effect was really good, sort of underrated now.

Fallout 3 is great, although I agree with the sentiment that 1&2 piss all over it.

The last remnant is made by square enix and has some good things to it.  It unfortunately has some downsides in that the texturing some times takes too long to display correctly and the frame rate in battles is awful at times.  However i'm enjoying it.

With Lost Odyssey i found some areas were a little long and so the story didn't flow well enough and the kids were annoying and it was very melodramatic which drove me a little mad.

Blue Dragon is very good.  I didn't finish it which annoys me because there was no good reason for stopping.  You have to be a fan of proper classic JRPG's though.

For me the stand out rpg on the 360 was Mass Effect, i thought it was exceptional.  Although honourable mentions have to go to Fable 2 and Fallout 3.
