Northerngimp
Ok Chaps, I'm off to Vancover and Whistler backend of March, has anyone been before? Whislt in Vancouver we are going to see the canucks play St Louis Blues, anything else we should see whilst there? We will only be in Vancouver for a few days then heading up to Whistler, obviously for skiing etc. Whats it like?, any hints n tips?
dinotheprehistoricgeordie
I went back in 2003 it was an amazing trip saw a bit of the west coast. To tell you the truth the majority of my Vancover time was spent drinking so no real tips there. Whistler is a nice town very overpriced though. Went during the summer so did alot of mountain biking........I'll go look over my photos to see if theres anything that I can remember being worth having a look. dinotheprehistoricgeordie
I've had a look over mate sorry to say haven't really got anyhting to add. Unless you want to go to a nudist beach where the most beautiful woman in the world sells tofu burgers? Though you would, location is Jericho beach park Vancouver. Close to the univeristy of British Coloumbia. Mind the tofu burgers are in demand and lines are long

Northerngimp
You lucky devil, how much is the trip setting you back? Lucky as fuck, wor lass has a conference over there, so she is already paid for. We just split my bill. The organisers encourage family members, partners n stalkers to come along. So i jumped at the chance. We'll be going with a few people from her lab, her mate is taking her bloke along so me and him will do a bit of snow boarding and skiing while they conference it up. Total cost am not sure as we are splitting my flights, hotels, bus journeys etc.
Guest toonlass
Got two good friends who live in Vancouver and absolutely love it. Came over here to live for a while when they were teenagers and went back to Vancouver about 5 years ago. The ski-ing and snow boarding is brilliant. Shearer9
The skiing is amazing out there, spent about 4 days skiing on Whistler and never made it over to the other mountain it's huge. Also snowed the whole time but wasn't too cold so it was brilliant, definitely the best skiing I've ever done (Been to Utah, Colorado, North Carolina and West Virginia)
