Not my genre at all, bet there are hundreds of "famous" Swedish metal/hard rock bands that I don't know of. Not really a fan of Swedish music in general either, mind. Can only think of four Swedish bands that I like.
Syrette
In Flames? Come on, tell me you at least know of them. Inadvertent thanks Towelie, I'm in the mood for some of my delightful Swedish metal now.

Syrette
Aye, In Flames I've heard of. Don't like them though. My music tastes nowadays go well beyond just metal/hard rock etc, but regardless I'd love to live in Sweden, such a vibrant music scene. At least I imagine for me it would be, I guess your tastes lie elsewhere.
Jill
Decent lineup. Last year when we were on the way to V there were some Bloodstockers on the train, one of them was absolutely stinking of sweat.. would not like to be his tent-mate for the rest of the weekend. Not a big fan, but they're decent enough. Terrific live though, would recommend any one to see them. The Sounds doesn't do it for me, though I agree that the lass is fit. Check out Mando Diao for another good Swedish band. They too are much better live though.
