It's just too busy.

Hold on, do you think they'll be using it for every episode or something?

Well, yes until the couch chasing bit which will presumably be different every episode.

Yeah, other than that it's not much different though.

Not that it matters, it's just an intro.

No of course I don't, stop making assumptions, but pretty much every part of it had too much for the eye to focus on. It wasn't broke, so why try to overcomplicate it?

I asked you a question, I didn't assume anything.

This isn't me assuming anything but maybe you were focusing on it a lot more than you usually would? I know I was.

A crushingly unfunny disappointment. Sums up recent Simpsons very well, appropriate new intro.

Yeap yeap. What a shambles that show has become.

I've got all the boxsets up to season 10. Class, but you can feel the shark getting into place and them setting up the giant tranpoline.

Won't be buying anymore.

Such a shame. Probably the best programme ever made up until series 9 imo. 10 was pretty good, but as you say, it was starting to turn.

Frank Grimes

You Only Move Twice

A Milhouse Divided

those were the best ever episodes imo.

That's the one for me.

I'm a huge fan of the episode where Bob gets out and has to work for his brother (also series 8) mind.

Quite like that new opening sequence, very nice.

Rather peturbed that twenty years on, the Simpson children all seem still not to have aged a day though. And neither have the parents. And surely gramps should have bought it by now.

Still, it remains more realistic than yoru average British soap.
