Will 46 points be enough?

Llambias is confident United will stay up and has boldly predicted they will surpass their safety target.

He added: "I think we’ll stay up.

"We’ve had conversations about where we are going points-wise. I have said 46 points.

"Everybody thinks I am potty, but I’m confident of it."

:undecided:

He's pretty talkative for a pie & chips saleman.

Damned if they do... :omg:

Well, could you really give a f**k what HE thinks? Wise's opinion would at least me make me read it all the way the way through tbh.

40 pts will do it, maybe even less.

Can see Hull picking up about 5 more pts all season leaving them with 34.

Boro about 10pts max, leaving them on 33.

WBA 10pts max leaving them on 32.

For extra safety Stoke getting 10 pts on 35, so 40pts should easily see you playing prem footie next season.

If we beat Bolton next i think were basically safe.

If we beat the dross, and get a point off the top 4, we'll finish on 50 points.

That's wins against Bolton, Hull, Stoke, Fulham, Boro, Tottenham and Portsmouth - and a draw at home to Arsenal who normally find it difficult at SJP.

Quite difficult aye, but not all that unlikely!

Not impossible, I suppose, but it's very, very unlikely we win all those games tbf.

Have you seen us play?

We're absolutely shite like.

don’t worry, with Shola up front and Smith back in the team it’s up the league we go!
