Nope.

Normally I find ladykind to be overly ambiguous and not all too succint with their wordings. I'd say this "nope" is a refreshing blessing. Take it for what it is, text back "ok" and find somebody else to go with.

Depends what you texted to her.

Just asked if she wants to meet 'at the usual place' for a glass of wine.  :-[

This nope thing is new.  ???

I hate the word, it's harsher than a no, almost like they're rejecting you without a second thought. :(

Nope feels lighter than no....I'm tempted to call.

That sounds pretty final tbh. Just typing those extra 2 letters means Se a cabo imho.

Her boyfriend just dumped her, so I though...You know...Moral support and all that.  :aww:

Well you forgot to tell us that didn't you. She could just be playing the "woe is me card". You know how women can be. :)

Is she normally terse?

She can get terse if I stop pretending to listen to her long lecturers about my behaviour.

Nope is the arrogant, condescending way of saying no.

You can't say nope without sounding like a cunt.  You got rejected.  Rejected hard.

Fucking bitch. I'm gonna cook up the mother of all texts in a minute.

You mean I might be able to slip her a length?
