Leazes1986
Well i'm not on a diet or anything but i've been eating a few too many takeaways for my liking over the last few months so i'm just trying to make sure i don't become fat, so i'm trying to eat a bit better. I've always either ate a packet of Super Noodles with bread or a bun or a bacon/sausage sarnie (bun) for my dinner. Its not really the best food to eat though and i've always found myself hungry after a couple of hours if i've just had a bacon sarnie. Over the last couple of weeks i've stopped though and i've went for a poached egg on toast (brown bread, half a tin of baked beans, with a few grilled mushrooms and onions. I know you're not supposed to eat too many eggs in a week though so i've alternated between a poached egg and grilled bacon. Would that be considered a healthy dinner to have 4 times a week? Obviously bacon isn't healthy like but it is grilled and i'm only having it twice a week, and i have poached egg the other two times. I've found that when i eat that for dinner it takes me a lot longer to get hungry, and when I've had my tea i don't really get tempted to eat shit later on in the night. When i was eating Super noodles etc, i was always hungry late on and ended up eating crisps or whatever. I've also been going on an hour long walk ever day down the sea front and i've been feeling a lot better for it like.

Disco
I've re-read your OP and I'm still none the wiser as to what you mean. My only advice would be learn to cook a bit more.
AyeDubbleYoo
Sounds like you're doing the right things mate. One of the problems with supernoodles and junk food is that it is energy-dense and gives you a boost followed by a crash/feeling of hunger. To be honest, most people's diet is such that the last thing they need to be worried about is how many eggs they eat. Knock yourself out is my view. Get the reduced sugar and salt beans as well, they taste really bland at first but after a while you can't tell the difference!
Rocker
Aye mate, your doing well by the sounds of things. You'd be suprised how shit peoples diets are, and yours at the minute is a decent one to follow. The odd bacon sarnie etc won't hurt. You'd even get away with having a full fry up once a week, as long as you keep the other days pretty healthy. Exercise is vital though. My mate just eats shit 24/7, but he's constantly doing sports every day of the week and hitting the gym, and he looks good for it. My diet at the moment just consists of : pasta (with tomato pasta sauce and tuna fish), tuna fish sandwiches, chicken fillets with rice ( that quick cook uncle ben stuff), and different soups. Fatwax
I read an article recently that suggested that there wasn't a limit on how many eggs you should eat in a week and that you could, if you wanted to, just go nuts. Just eat in moderation. Simple, really. Another interesting article I read stated that the term 'once a cheat, always a cheat' has been proven to be scientifically true.. but thats another topic for another thread. Not that I'm going to start one about it. Ever.
Andy
I eat loads of eggs and bacon almost every day. I haven't died yet. No obvious signs of death being on its way. If any of this changes I will alert you.

AyeDubbleYoo
I was just going to ask "do you bake them in their shells"! Then I realised what would happen if you cracked them open first!
Tooj
Has anyone ever had baked eggs btw? Absolutely lush. What kind of mental case bakes eggs? Crack open an egg into a small dish. Then a tablespoon of double cream to that. Put salt & pepper onto that. Then put into a deep oven tray filled with boiling kettle water. Bake for 15 minutes. Serve with soldiers. Absolutely amazing. Leazes1986
Cheers for the input from the people who understood . Seems like I'm eating better than i was then, and I'm enjoying it and feeling more healthy/energetic already so I'll stick to it. I'm a quite fussy eater like but I'm a lot better than i used to be. I'm quite limited on food options for a balanced diet because of this. My mam makes me a big pan of either Chilli Con Carne, Spaghetti Bol, Chicken Curry or Sausage Cassarole every week and I usually eat them about 3 times a week for tea, then I'll usually have one day through the week where I'll have something like oven chips and pie. Its the weekends where i end up going off it a bit. I have a full breakfast nearly every saturday for dinner (everything grilled), then I'll end up having my tea later than I would through the week and quite often it ends up being a takeaway (girlfriends fault), washed down by lots of pints/cans. On a Sunday I have the same every week without fail. I have a Sunday dinner then for tea the significant other makes me a pasta/stir fry.
pedro111
Regarding the argument for and against eggs. I am all for them they are one of the worlds great foods. As long as you dont fry them all the time I see no danger in eating as many as you want afterall they basically contain everything a baby chicken needs to survive. I heard this woman on the radio the other day going on about the saturated fat content in them but she can fuck off they are great man as long as you live an active lifestyle there is no problem with eating 10 eggs a week imo.
