Pilko
I'd be interested to see people allocate % totalling 100 to each of these scenarios, adding up to how they would ideally spilt their time: Option A) You have literally nothing to do, when you can sit, watch the telly, have a few drinks, post on N-O and just chillax. Option B) When you're working, because you love your job or you love doing housework. Option C) When you're with the family. Option D) When you're busy doing things, going places, meeting people, being social. Option E) When you're going shopping, buying, spending etc. Option F) When you're watching/playing/listening to sport. Option G) When you're sleeping. For example, me... A) 10% - Sometimes sitting with some beer posting on N-O with the music channel on the background really relaxes me, in a good way, although I probably spend too much time doing this, I'd rather I didn't. B) 2% - I hate my current job (shifts at Sainsburys) and can't wait to do something else when I get qualifications - the only reason this gets 2% is because one of my mates also works there, and because I get paid. Nothing else. C) 25% - I actually love being with the family, especially the grandparents. It's nice to have proper conversations with them opposed to with my mates etc where the conversation about as sophisticated as a BBC3 reality show. I go up and see them as often as I can, and I also like to talk to my mum and dad about things, what's on the news, what's happened at work/college etc. D) 20% - I'm happiest when I've got a busy schedule regarding going places with people, last weekend I did almost nowt but work and it bogged me down a bit - this weekend I was at the Bay game today and I'm watching the footy at 2 different mates houses (one with Sky, one with Setanta, both with Xbox360's) tomorrow, and I feel actually quite happy that I'm rushing around and not loafing about watching Jeremy Kyle! E) 8% - I don't mind shopping etc, not the greatest fan either - the only things I enjoy buying really are Xmas presents for the easy to buy for people, and when I buy either food (not a full food shop, just stuff I want!) or clothes, football boots, trainers etc. Is not a tightwad! F) 20% - AS detailed above my entire weekend has revolved around sport and it's pretty pivotal to me - the summer is a killer when there's no footy on! I also enjoy playing football or cricket whenever I can. G) 15% - I need lots of sleep, it's probably why I have so many bloody joint pains but I don't mind - when I'm tired I'm a miserable bastard, making others and myself much less happy. So yeah, sleep is important to me. It doesn't have to be as in depth as that, you could just stick the numbers (totalling 100) if you like.

Guest Howaythetoon
Frame of mind tends to dictate how happy or unhappy I am or can get rather than whatever it is I am doing.
Fatwax
All a person needs to be happy is love and work. I had neither for long stretches of last year and it's a horrible situation to be in. But now I'm banging away and employed, so y'know.

Guest Heneage
You will never find true happiness if you constantly search for it. In all honesty its balance and organization for me. I feel like I finally have it. I'm eating well and finally getting exercise and back into Football. I work hard at Uni and with outside stuff, but I also relax and stay chilled.
