Fatwax
I'm sure there's another thread about this but I can't be bothered to look. I was in topman the other day having a browse and I saw the that they've started selling top hats. I was chatting to one of the 'sale assistants' and apparently they're going to really try and push them and bring them back like they did with the trilby. What the fuck. Lenny
TopMan is shite. All of their clothes last about 1 wear and then shrink in the wash.
Fatwax
Trouble with topman is that it's part of the arcadia group so if it takes off, which it probably will judging by what some kids wear now in clubs, then expect to see it in all their other shops. The bloke said they were going to do a 'womens range' of hats too.

Guest firetotheworks
Topman and also H&M are pretty shit. Some of Topmans jeans, and its smart section have some choice clethz though. Its all about Zara for men for me now though, smart as fuck in there. Like H&M used to be before it went all slogan-y.

Not really high fashion, only like on kind of top - heavy material patterned polo shirts, does limit me a bit!

It's a Spanish brand so if you're ever over there go into their shops. It's all so cheap. The £35 jumpers here are about 18 euros over there. Another fashion that really bugged me were them t-shirts that said things like 'make love not war' and were tedious to try and read.
OzzieMandias
I once had a beautiful top hat I bought at an Oxfam shop on Gosforth High Street. Used to wear it out at night sometimes, too, until a bunch of skinheeds on the number 4 bus grabbed it off my head and stomped it to pieces in front of me. Bastards. Recently I thought of buying a bowler, having seen one in a shop window in London. It cost 50 quid though, so I didn't bother.

ChezGiven
Those flat shoes that girls wear. I didnt realise how many women had fat stumpy legs. Shiny black leggings are a bit weird too, i really looked odd in those.

Dave
Topman is alright for ~£20 jeans IYAM, and used to be fine for plainish shirts. They've gone really silly with the designs over the last few years though.

Mr. Snrub
I've went right off topman. The stuff like jumpers and cardigans wear out in like a month, and the decent stuff that they actually sell like jeans and check shirts, you can get at asos and they are cheaper and better. BlueStar
Went looking for a casual shirt in Manchester and pretty much every single one had the sleeves rolled up Why roll the sleeves up on the hanger? If I want to roll them up I'm perfectly capable of doing it myself, but if I want to wear it sleeves down then I've got to fucking iron it before the first wear. The best thing about buying a new shirt is not having to iron the fucking thing!
