Ingredients you really can't stand

Well, excluding meat (which I don't eat at all).

Spinach (most of the time)

Aubergines (most of the time)

Basil (I don't really like it)

Most Indian vegetables are pretty skanky.

There's exceptions though, pau bhaji (made with aubergines in it) and my spinach & ricotta pasta bake would both get munched up.

Mushrooms

Onions (well I like a lot of curries and I believe they all have mushrooms in them so make that big mushrooms)

Most greens

Kidney

Most fish

explains a lot of things O0

Didn't 'like' a lot of things until I started cooking for myself and then realised previous negative experiences were due to shit cooking/overcooking by other people.

Even eat celery & courgettes now, struggling to think of something I wouldn't eat (that I would usually come across, i.e. not lamb's testicles)

I had mushrooms on the brain there, meant big onions.

Mushrooms are horrible though.

Its funny how some people like something and others absolute hate it, to the point it makes them feel sick to eat it.

Some people at work hate peas and sweetcorn, seems so odd to me.

seriiously fuck mushrooms

eggplant

squash ...

Coriander (Cilantro) ... I'm one of those lucky few who thinks it tastes soapy/nasty, and even a pinch of it in a dish will ruin it for me.

I'm allergic to shellfish so I avoid all seafood anyway.

it's not so much the taste, which is often earthy and disgusting no matter how much people want to say it's "meaty", but there's also the horrifying texture sliding around in your mouth.

Mushrooms are the foulest thing ever. The taste, the smell, texture, the smell, the look - all disgusting. Would you eat the fungus that grows between toes? Fuck off.

Tried feta cheese once and it was how I'd imagine eating a sweaty fucking sock tasted like. Ugh.

Stinky/smokey fish - no thanks.

Mushrooms are just squidgy water, whats not to like?, its not as if they have a really strong repulsive smell/taste ala Tuna.

They do have a taste and its not nice, obviously not as overpowering at something like Tuna but can ruin a meal all the same.

Mushroom Omelette smothered in curry sauce with a few chips round the outside = heaven.

Dry roasted peanuts.

Agreed, it's salted or not at all.

Agree with Dave and thomas about mushrooms as well, it's the texture and what they look like that gets me.

And another one - red kidney beans. What purpose do they serve apart from making you shit?
