davy_fulla
Well now I'm getting old and have different aspirations in life I'm beginning to realise my priorities in life are changing. Before I know it I'll be complaining about the younger generation and going to the garage wearing my slippers. The simple things in life appeal to me now and so here's my idea of a: Perfect night in All cosied up. Missus reading a book/watching TV/keeping out of my way. Me lying horizontal on the settee in front of a good documentary with a nice bottle of lager. Bairn snug upstairs in bed. Perfect night out Start with a decent meal out with the missus then off into town with the before retiring at a reasonable hour to bed for some dirty unadulterated..........sleep. Heaven!!! What's your idea of evening bliss?
Neil
In terms of going out, I don't think there's one particular thing I can decide, though the scenario you painted isn't far off in my book ( ). I guess the people make it (or sometimes break it!), particularly if it's a night out in town with mates. In terms of staying in.... I'm not sure. Just a nice chilled out evening with something/someone to engage me in some way so I don't get bored.
MW
Its quite hard, cos sure going out clubbing can be awesome, but for me the best times n times il remember are when I go down to the local with 6/7 best lad mates n just do laddish things. Guess that would be the perfect night in as well if your doing literally. Otherwise guess the perfect night in would be watching a brilliant tv series or a funny comedy. Of course ending up with the lass later on....
Neil
Actually yeah. Having a few mates over, few drinks, 360 maybe. That's a nice night in imo. Laddish things I guess, as maxwaters said.
davy_fulla
Thought I was having a perfect night in tonight. Bairn went to bed at a decent time. My mate and his lass came down. Few drinks, good craic, my missus went to bed and I'm watching Coast with the telly all to myself. It's all gone to shit though as no sooner had I started this thread than a mouse ran out from under the sofa. Been trying to chase it for 15mins but it's fast as lightning the little twat! Allmo
A perfect night out for me is when all the mates i'm out with are up for it and everyone just enjoying themselves, obviously including myself, to good music. A perfect night in is with the lass, nice chinese takeaway, watching a shit (more often than not) movie on the settee/in bed. Obviously sex will play an awesome part, but if it didn't, I'd still really enjoy myself tbh.

Guest Heneage
Perfect night in. Bit of footy, bit of Spanish or Italian grub and a few mates. Night out- Probably last night. Went for dinner then met up with mate and some lads id never met, went round Durham then off to Chester.
Fatwax
It's not what you do it's who you're with. I've had some awesome nights out with mates in really rubbish clubs and bars. Same with staying in, had some great nights in at uni with my housemates or with my ex.
Pilko
In - mates round, some 360, footy on the telly, cans etc, and some MAN chat, about birds and a geezer in a boozer with a motor. Out - Few cans, then off for a curry at around 7.30, then into Newcastle and not getting back till the early hours!
Guest Nufc4Life
In - On my own, few cans, some decent telly/dvd's. Out - Not a very sociable person at the moment, but rather than clubbing i much prefer going to a local pub and having a few with a couple of mates if i have to. Really prefer my own company and staying in at nights now though, save all my money for going to football

Cajun
In: With the lass watching tv and DVD's with some sort of takeaway maybe a beer/cider or two. Out: Round a mates flat for a few then off to a bar/club about 10ish. Haven't been out on the piss for months though, last few times were pretty average. Not half as much fun going out with the lads when you have a girlfriend imo.
ElDiablo
In: On my own watching latest episodes of the TV programs that I follow, maybe nip across the road and get a kebab. Did exactly that last night as I had no money to go out. Quality. Out: Depends who I'm with, some mates I'd rather just sit in the pub and talk about football/women. Others I'd rather go out to a club and get messyyy.
catmag
I have a glass of wine, Marc is making the tea, the baby is asleep and I'm a very happy girl. Pretty much a perfect night in I think.
Tooj
Perfect Night In Pretty much chilling out, I've got a substantial amount of green, and a fine selection of tunes ranging from Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Radiohead & many more. Couldn't ask for much more than that. Perfect Night Out Definitely not going out around town that's for certain. Just going to some of the finest establishments that the east end has on offer. The Tyne, Free Trade, Tanners or the Cumberland. Preferably on a Sunday when the Tyne has a few bands on and it's open night at the Cumberland. Cajun
I need to get my lass eating some "proper food". She doesn't like Chinese or Indian or anything else remotely exotic. She doesn't really like meet (queue the jokes). Boring bitch ruins all the good opportunities for a nice meal together
