safc
There is some usually outstanding footage on Attenborough's programs. And I expect more of the same with this series. Attenborough is a legend, and throughly deserved the lifetime award he received the other night. I don't think he's presented a bad series of programs yet. BlufPurdi
Attenborough >>>>>>>>> Irwin. And I like Irwin.
Decky
Funny, im just watching Attenborough now on RTE2, everything i need to know about spiders gripping tv
safc
Attenborough >>>>>>>>> Irwin. And I like Irwin. Very true, apart from the liking Irwin bit. I never liked Irwin's approach if I'm honest. I enjoy watching nature program to see how nature works in a natural way, not when it's being wrestled by a mad Aussie trying to show how brave he is. That's not nature in my opinion. Ally
I like Planet Earth, but Attenbrough's voice annoys me too much to watch it for an entire hour. Bores me something rotten.
garth
I think Attenborough is the greatest!, his documentaries are always of the highest quality.

BlufPurdi
The footage on these shows just get better every year. Which is to be expected, I guess, but it wasn't until very recently that it started to do so. For about twenty years it was just the same stuff. BlufPurdi
Don't know, probably.
Ally
The footage is amazing, but its far better on mute.
Dave
I think it's shot in HD which adds to the quality even on a normal def telly. They do show it on BBCHD though, bet it's cracking.
safc
Another excellent show. Some cracking footage. Must be weird to have been faced by that Polar Bear. Knowing it wants to eat you, but being able to see such a creature in the wild so close up.
BlufPurdi
The bit where the bear was at the window was top. You'd seriously shit yourself.
Tooj
Didn't actually realise that Walrus' were that big, the bear looked tiny next to some of them.
