they are diametric polls designed to highlight who is rated and who is hated. One poll would not show both extremes.

I'll edit it though for the challenged people...

Well they "should" both show the exact same answers anyway!

Plus im sure every player has "the right price"

less votes in here than the sell poll  blueconfused.gif

Maybe because both polls give you exactly the same answer so people arent going to bother with both?

I wholeheartedly disagree

they just don't alright!

you might feel strongly that some be sold over others, therefore it doesn't scan that automatically everyone you don't want to sell are wanted whatever offer comes in. You might feel strongly that you want to keep Given and Parker, but that doesn't automatically mean everyone else can go regardless, just that they aren't as important to you. The polls are a measure of strong opinions.

It depends entirely on the manager. If we had a new, good manager, like Houllier or Sven or someone like that - plus a good few transfers in every department. I'd keep:

Given - top class keeper

Harper - decent backup

Moore - experience and i think he organises our defense well

Taylor - massive potential and would learn under a good manager

Ramage - massive potential and would learn under a good manager

Solano - experience and still has ability

Milner - creative with massive potential, and would learn under a good manager

Emre - good player, playing in a bad team under a bad manager

Dyer - good player, playing in a bad team under a bad manager

Parker - good player, playing in a bad team under a bad manager

Duff - good player, playing in a bad team under a bad manager

N'Zogbia - good player with potential, playing in a bad team under a bad manager

Sibierski - decent backup

Martins - good player, playing in a bad team under a bad manager

Owen - world class

Ameobi - has improved greatly

This team has got the players capable. It just doesn't have the manager. Someone like O'Neill would have brought our defense and other younger players on in leaps and bounds; just look at the Villa youngsters. The Villa youngsters aren't as good as the Newcastle youngsters (or they weren't), it's just that there, they've been taught how to play.

Someone like O'Neill or any other good manager would have brought the good out of our team.

I don't think Moore organises your defence any better than Boumsong before him tbh.

Dyer is a good player when he's fit, which unfortunately, isn't often enough.  Not worth keeping in my view, especially on his current cotract.
