Menace
Hello, been using eBay for like 5 years now so this is new to me. I bought a PSP 3000, and paid for it etc, seller sent me an email saying it'll arrive Tuesday (which it did) I open it up, and it's the older model PSP 2000, I've already sent the seller an email 2 days ago which she still hasn't replied. What actions do I have available to me? Cheers!
AyeDubbleYoo
Tracking the bloke down and giving him a kicking is one. In my experience eBay like to look as if they care about this sort of thing, but in reality don't give a fuck. I reported a few copied games I received and nothing happened whatsoever. You can open up a dispute through eBay I'm sure, they have a load of help pages for that. Good luck!
Menace
The page isn't even working on PayPal.
Dave
Give them negative rep and rejoice because your PSP is easier to hack*. *I think.
Menace
Unhackable version.

Menace
Cheeky bitch! I am afraid that it is the psp 3000 because the speakers are on the top wheras the psp 2000 has the speakers on the bottom and when I bought it the shop assistant who gave it to me said it is a psp 3000 definitly. My reply Sorry but the shop assistant lied to you. This is the PSP 2000, it even says on the bottom of the PSP and on the box. Also, the PSP 3000 has a built in microphone, this one does not. Here is a pic: http://elitegamers.blog.friendster.com/files/psp3000vs2000_1.jpg Notice the microphone near the PSP letters, thats the built in microphone. (PSP 3000) And Dave, it's been updated to 5.03, which hasn't been cracked yet. New reply! I have double checked and there are only a couple of slight differences, one being that the 3000 model has the logo on the left top of console, the 2000 models was on the right and the select and start buttons on the bottom of console are now oval and much more flush to the surface. Please check these points and you'll see it is the 3000
Dave
She sounds like a right thicko tbh. Take a photo of the PSP you got with the eBay page in the background or something and circle the different bits.
Menace
Im so sorry but my son was given it as a xmas present and was told it was the 3000 version but we must have been misinformed and I will send you £10 via email. Apologies. Dave, it says 8C at the back of it and on the graph it says 8C: Has Very High Chance that it is Unhackable. :/

Guest elbee909
I'd want a full refund, subject to you sending it back of course.
Menace
She's just offered to pay £6.50 into my PayPal to send it back cause I asked for £30 extra instead of £10. She's just lost out on about £15 on PayPal/Ebay fees.
Guest Heneage
I had that happen with my dictaphone he sent me the wrong model when I stated I needed a model that worked to PC is it this one and he said yes. Ebays a bugger for stuff like this to be fair. But just send it back , how much were you saving over buying it from the shops?

Belfast Boy
Is there a way to add a Buy It Now price once an auction has started and you have a bid on the item. I am selling some old Vtech game consoles and currently there is one bid at £2. I have had a message saying someone will give me £25 now but I can't find how to / if I can do that. I don't think you can do that, no. And I think it's wrong to do that once you have had someone bid on the item in question, personally.

Typical, I dont think I can do it either but just watch the auction end now at under a tenner when someone is willing to pay £25!

Cancel the listing and relist it. http://offer.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?EndingMyAuction Make sure to select the one that doesn't give the item to the current highest bidder. Cheers for that, not sure what to do now. I wouldnt mind just adding a Buy it Now price, but it doesnt seem right to just cancel the item when there is a bid on it, even if it does mean I lose out. tmonkey
You could always get a friend, or a second account, to boost the price up (and you can remove that bid later should you want to using a similar form). Which might be dishonest to an extent, but it's just a means to make sure that you get the minimum price you want, which is entirely your choice and imo within your rights. If the price gets too high, then noone is forced to bid on it, and similarly you're not obliged to sell at any price just because you've mistakenly listed without the right price structure. They should bid their 25 quid and have done with it. And sod shill bidding, it's never "within your rights".
