No Hooper then? Interesting.

Doesn't play for a fashionable club.

DD,

Look at the last couple these lads are playing for your Readings or Watfords:

47. Tommy Doherty, Wycombe

48. Charlie McDonald, Brentford

49. Andy Bishop, Bury

50. Marcus Bean, Brentford

Got to have some League 2 players in. They always do.

Anyone ever thought we should be scouting these football league players and be signing them as SQUAD players to come in and compete for starting roles in the team? Ie: Surely we could find about 4 off that list who have more mobility than Butt and can play some simple 1-2 passing better than some of our lot?

I always thought we could have built a strong squad with DEPTH by bringing in some of these on the cheap and have them compete and put pressure on some of our "international" talent.

Good call Kanji86

I am sure Dyer, Jenas & Bellamy all joined us from Football League clubs but as we tend to see on here people have a thirst for players from the foreign leagues & we all saw some of the negative comments on Shearer appointment that "HE WILL FAVOUR BRITISH PLAYERS"..............some people cant get enough of s*** frenchies (In advance:f*** OFF MAN!!! WE HAVE HAD MORE s**** ONES/BACK STABBERS THAN GOOD ONES) or failures from La Liga.

I'd take Tommy Smith for the right wing if we go down, scored shitloads this season.

Been less impressive recently, still a class above the rest of our side. Also, this whole list is fucking shit. Ebanks-Blake is so overrated. Half of those players are shite and live on reputation alone.

There's a few examples (from what I've seen) of players all far too highly ranked.

From Watford, I'd think about sticking Scott Loach, Don Cowie and Ross Jenkins on there. (none definite)

From Wolves, Matt Jarvis is imo much better than Kightly, I rarely see Kightly really do well.

Birmingham are shit.

Derby, the likes of Paul Green are ignored?

From Doncaster, no Coppinger?

I'd probably stick David McGoldrick (Southampton) in there, maybe Surman, McGoldrick has done well in a struggling side.

No Victor Moses (Palace)? No Akos Buszaky? Jay Tabb? Even Andy Keogh? Nathan Dyer? Mark Beevers? Joe Mattock? Owen Garvan? Elliot Ward?

I was gonna ask you about Jenkins GG he really did impress me against Spurs is he on loan from Chelsea? I also think Ross McCormack should be higher.

Jenkins is ours, Cork is the one on loan from Chelsea. Cork is slightly better, but Jenkins has similar potential and is improving rapidly. We seem to have a few decent young players atm, Mariappa, Jenkins, O'Toole (if we keep him) and then Robinson(doing well at Southend).

Ferrie Bodde is by far the best player on that list. If he didn't do his leg in early season Swansea would be in the play-offs, almost guarenteed.

Not sure about a few players on that list, there are certianly a few players who wouldn't cut it in the Prem. But if we went down (god forbit!) there are a few youngesters we should be looking at from that list and if Cardiff don't go up Roger Johnson would be a quality signing whatever division we are in.
